Pinch A Penny is a great supplier of chemicals i use on a regular basis, they take action and are kind and perform a great role in assisting customers!
I’ve been a customer for years and my interactions with staff over the years have always been pleasant. I buy all of my supplies from here including a $1k robotic pool cleaner. I always get my chlorine from here. I get my refills 4 at a time. Last time I got my refills, the jug they gave me leaked all over my truck before I got home. I marked “leaks” on it with a sharpie so they knew not to use that one again when I came back. I told them about it when I came in for refills today and they refused to swap it out for one that doesn’t leak as I tried to get the refills. She said I’d have to buy a new one and they wouldn’t swap it. Really? This is a pinch a penny branded jug that is leaking at the seam, not from abuse. Call me petty, but I’ll never go here again. Aloha Pools is much closer to my house, I’ll start going there.
Ryan is always friendly and professional. He is very knowledgeable of store products and pool issues. He always provides accurate diagnoses of pool water samples. I wish their pricing on pumps and accessories were better. Will definitely return since we'll always need pool chemicals and supplies. Great experience every time...
In April I bought a new Jandy pool pump. I was unable to install it until mid-August. The electricians connected it, but the motor just hummed and ignited some insulation on the electric access plate. I took it back yesterday. Pinch-a-Penny staff contacted the manufacturer and advocated for replacing it under warranty. I now have a new replacement. This kind of customer support will keep me coming back.
Amazing service. Had a new liner installed, new salt water system installed and they moved our hot tub twice. The customer service was amazing. They went over and above in helping us find a house with a quality pool. Then they did an perfect job with the installation. The price was exactly as quoted. Very professional and will use again in the future.
