Took weeks for Buddy to answer my calls/ texts. When he finally came to fix my tub, he installed a used part, overcharged me, and is still not heating to full potential. He said he'd come back the next morning to adjust but hasn't returned any calls... not reliable and would not recommend
Buddy no called, no showed twice. Left my hot tub opened up after seeing what was wrong. Terrible communication and didn’t seem to remember who I was every time I tried calling him. Not moving forward with buddy. Buddy told me what to buy, but never came to fix it. Waste of my money for him to come out and tell me what he believed I needed and him not coming to actually fix it. Seems like this happened a lot as I am seeing bad reviews of the same thing happening to them. Wish I could get the money I spent with him back at this point. Terrible communication.Also, he took the panel off and then left it off and took the screws used to hold the side panel on.
We have a newer hot tub (and warranty) we purchased from Inside Out and they would not return my inquiries asking for help when our spa broke down for the 5th time in 4 years since buying it. When I had to eventually look for help elsewhere, I called Advance Spa and to my delight Buddy answered on a Friday night and came out the next morning!Buddy quickly diagnosed the problem (bad motor that was leaking water over everything) and was then off to order parts, etc. He ALSO found and repaired a few other minor parts, tubing, etc "under the hood" to polish up our tub's performance and prevent future damage.When Sundance Spa set the tubing up in our Chelsee spa (we purchased brand new from Inside Out), they had a few of the tubes kinked (poor workmanship). One of which was feeding into the main motor, which inevitably helped to burn it out very prematurely. Buddy not only fixed the problem, but explained what caused it, why and how to avoid things moving forward.Buddy is an older guy with some health challenges so I was understanding of that from the start and I was patient with him getting back out after he had some personal set backs. BUT, he is a good, honest man who does great work and he knows his craft very well. He was always good with taking my calls and returning texts when checking in.Sadly, today it is hard to find good service and honest work when you need help and I'm glad we have someone like Buddy doing what he does here in the Toledo area.I would highly recommend Buddy. I hope I never have to call him again but if I ever have more issues with this spa of mine, he is the first person I will call. Great work, fair prices and happy I was able to acquire his services and help.
Installed our hot tub beautifully and affordable. After a year we began seeing leaks. Buddy was almost impossible to reach or get him to commit to see issue. Finally came charged hundreds of dollars and still leaks. Won’t come back to guarantee his work, refused to give us a refund after offering it. Wouldn’t recommend repair but would recommend hook up!
After no one would come out to service our Spa I was given Buddy's contact information. He was very responsive and was able to diagnose our problems quickly. He was honest with pricing up front and kept to his quotes. He had to special order my parts and had us up and running within a week. I highly recommend Buddy's and Advanced Spa Services. Buddy thanks for your quick response and great customer service.
