The BEST Pool Experience! Everything about our pool adventure was streamed line and easy. Mike came out to our home to see and listen to the vision we had for our pool. He took our vision and the pool we chose and made a layout for us to go over. With the money we had planned for a pool, we were able to make changes. We were able to move the benches to our liking and have a sun deck we’ve always wanted, with a bubbler and changing lights as well. Mike was very patient with all our questions and concerns, choosing the tiles and coping we really wanted, colors matching and all, giving great advice and ideas through our whole pool project. The subcontractors were all awesome and worked very hard. We had a really wonderful experience in all aspects of the process. Mike was constantly in contact and worked very hard to make our vision come together. We were able to see our dream come true with Mike and Ocean Blue Pools. You will not find another pool company that will treat you like family and work hard to see you happy. And, by the way, we have a friend who is getting their pool started right now by Ocean Blue Pools!
I initially gave this company a 5-star review, but I am completely changing it. While I was initially thrilled that they built my pool in under 60 days—going from the initial dig to steel rebar and gunite in just 48 hours—the truth has since come out. As the saying goes, "What’s done in the dark will come to light." Now that the rush has cleared, it is obvious this was a rushed money-grab that sacrificed safety and transparency.Here is why my 5-star rating changed:They allowed me to choose the placement for my Hayward equipment, even though the location completely violated the manufacturer's safety guidelines. Because of this, they installed my pool heater directly next to another ignition source.One of their "subcontractors" (who is actually a direct employee) left loose, dangling wires exposed all around my pool equipment.I have repeatedly asked for the contact information of their master planner to get clarity on the project, but they flat-out refuse to give it to me.: My contract ended up with 7 different addendums. To make matters worse, Kyle the manager directed me to request draw money, but I later find out I was requesting funds too soon. I was literally just doing what their own management told me to do.The Bottom Line:Do not let the fast timeline fool you like it fooled me. They will do anything to get you a pool quickly, but it comes at the expense of safety, proper craftsmanship, and administrative honesty. Proceed with extreme caution.
We had Ocean Blue Pools build our pool last summer and couldn’t be happier. Six weeks from start to finish, great quality, and they kept us in the loop the whole way. Excellent value too. Would absolutely use them again!
We had a great experience with Ocean Blue Pools. Our old pool had cracking plaster, cracking decking and failing pool equipment. Ocean Blue helped us redesign the pool/decking along with replacing the equipment. We love how it turned out. On time schedules and professional communication.
