Aqua Pacific has been my go-to ever since Capital Iron sold me a brand new hot tub and then went belly up. This store carries the same full line of Dazzle products and hot tub parts, is reasonably priced and has confidently supported me with every question I’ve had. They even went above and beyond helping me resolve a manufacturing defect in my hot tub. Thanks for the crystal clear water and confidence knowing there’s help nearby:)
Aqua Pacific has gone downhill big time. I have shopped here off and on for the past 12 years. The past 5 years were terrible. I'm not sure when Milt sold the store, but it has been absolutely brutal. I have showed up to the store during regular business hours regularly only to find the front door was locked, no one in the store, and no signs to indicate why. One time I brought in a water sample for testing and they told me that they were too busy to do it while I was in the store, and told me they would email me the results. I emailed a day or two after and they had no idea what I was talking about or where my water sample was. 10 Days ago, my pool pump went and I emailed 5 Pool stores in Victoria for a quote on a new pump and install. 4 out of the 5 places replied back with a quote within 48 hours. Today I just received a reply back from Aqua pacific with a quote of over $1100 for the pump and that they wouldn't be able to do any kind of install until August at the earliest. Thankfully every other pool store in victoria quoted me similar pumps for around $500. In fact a store already ordered the pump and already installed it for me. To think all of this happened within a week of when my pump went while aqua pacific had not even gotten around to returning my email blows my mind. These guys are rookies, and their competition is blowing them out of the water. Save your time and money and shop at any other pool store in Victoria, you will be extremely thankful that you did.
After going to every hot tub store multiple times in Victoria to learn about and choose our hot tub, we decided to purchase ours at Aqua Pacific Pools and Hot Tubs. The staff were consistently polite, professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and super helpful at answering all of our questions. Their honest approach definitely provided us with a lot of trust in them and their company. We never felt rushed to make our purchase and once we decided to go forward, everything was so simple and seamless for our entire transaction. I also love the fact that our H2O spa is a BC product :)
These guys are great. I used to get my hot tub chemicals from just anywhere, but I was told to try these guys. My hot tub water has never looked clearer. More importantly though, they're super friendly and helpful, and know their stuff. I went in to buy a new pump when it started leaking, but their repair guy said it would be cheaper for me to rebuild the old one and led me through all the steps to do it for $30 worth of parts. Can't say enough about a small business like these guys.
