From start to finish it has been such a pleasure having the team at Swan Pools design and build our pool. Thank you, Mike, Heidi, John, Amber, Roberto, and the hard-working and meticulous crews that completed the various stages! Heidi walked us through ideas, made suggestions, and provided options - and was regularly in contact with us during the initial design phase and as the work began. Mike was on-site regularly throughout the project and very communicative with us at every step, including being in direct contact with the company that did our concrete around the pool so they could align their timeline. Mike was also great at suggesting or offering support/referrals for other related projects (lighting, fence, etc.). The crews that completed the various stages were all really nice, considerate (from accessing our property, using the driveway, etc.), and they cleaned up all the dust and random materials regularly. Once the pool was done and filled, while we (not so patiently) waited for it be swimmable, Roberto was helpful and very informative about pool maintenance, and responding to many questions we had. Having had experience with other project managers and construction crews, this by far, has been the best and the pool is beautiful! Exactly what we envisioned!
From the first meeting when Heidi came to bid our project throughout the 3 month project Swan Pools delivered top notch customer service. Working with contractors can be challenging but they have good systems in place to streamline and communicate things as the project moves along. I found Swan Pools pricing to be fair, I love the quality of work they produced! Mike was a pleasure to see regularly as well as Roberto. Any issues I had, they addressed quickly. I will recommend Swan Pools to anyone who is thinking of putting a pool in. My family will enjoy this pool and hot tub for many years!
Swan Pool Walnut Creek team built our pool which was a somewhat complex hillside project. We found the team to be professional and responsive. We love the end results.It is worth noting that the pool was part of a larger hillside project, so I personally spent a lot of time researching and coordinating. The number of questions and hiccups in such a project are many, and really requires the home owner to be involved and do a lot of research along the way. A pool project is not an "off the shelf" product, so there is a need for the home owner to be informed and engaged. I guess an alternative would be to hire a landscape architect you trust to do this management, but in my view it is not a true substitute for the homeowner him/herself.
We look at lots of companies and chose Swan because of both price and responsiveness. John, our initial contact and designer was great. We clicked with him, he gave us great ideas and helped us stay in budget with the pool design that we wanted. We had a complicated setup and when we ran into some issues, he took over and saw it to the end. Our pool is better than we could have imagined when we started our project.
