We had a very big project. A complete Master bathroom renovation and kitchen renovation. Carol was amazing. She walked us through the process step-by-step, How to pick the most beautiful and practical cabinets and , gave us a tentative timeline and everything worked out as well as it possibly could have. Our kitchen is gorgeous And totally functional and our bathroom is absolutely luxurious. If you’re going to have these projects - or any others done in your home, this is the team you want creating and managing it. Kudos to Carol and her Geeks!
This company did a great job with my kitchen remodeling. I am a first time home buyer and had many ideas but no clue.the other local companies didn’t seem so supportive. We were walked through the process all the way and guided into making great decisions for function and design. We love our new kitchen as do all our friends and family. Highly recommend this company. Soon doing our bathrooms- they’ll be the only call we make.
Geek Construction came to the rescueI was stuck with a half finished deck and stairs that could not pass inspection in my mountain homeIn addition I had a major drainage problem because of the steep grade.Justin the construction manager , came up with a plan to resolve all of the issues. He was thoughtful and extremely professional. The crew members were also excellent and very nice people as wellWe passed inspection, resolved the drainage issues, and also addressed a few other lingering things that I needed help with.Geek is not inexpensive but you get what you pay forA knowledge manager like Justin who gets the job done right .
My experience with Geek for a recent bathroom remodel was far from satisfactory and did not align with the positive reviews I've seen. While their representative emphasized a commitment to quality and in-house trades, my project unfolded quite differently. The project began with a no-show on the first scheduled day, which was inconvenient as I had taken time off work. This set the tone for what became a challenging renovation.Contrary to their assurances, the tile work was outsourced, and the communication with the subcontracted team was difficult due to a language barrier. It ultimately led to the initial shower tile installation needing to be removed and redone because the water did not flow to the drain, and would pool in parts of the shower.Throughout the project, there were significant delays with days passing without any work being done. When workers did arrive, there often seemed to be a lack of clear direction or understanding of the project scope. My interactions with the project manager involved promises that, unfortunately, were not consistently fulfilled.Furthermore, the quality of some of the completed work was poor. Plumbing required redoing, and the toilet valve were installed in a way that made them inaccessible for shut-off. The most significant issue was the incorrect installation of the shower floor tile, which also necessitated a complete tear-out and re-installation.After five months, my bathroom remodel is finally complete. While the project is finished, I do not have full confidence in the overall quality and adherence to proper standards of the work performed.
We hired Geek Construction to help us convert 2 closets into a Jack and Jill style bathroom and they did a phenomenal job! We are so thrilled with the results. From the initial consultation to final touches, they were a pleasure to work with and exceeded expectations! We will be using them again in the future, highly recommend!
