Had a great experience with Shawn and Masters Construction! Had structural issues that needed to be addressed in a house we just purchased- full 7 feet of sill/rim joist replacement and 4 piers that were missing from the crawlspace as well as replacing some subfloor and resetting an exterior door. Shawn brought out a fabulous framer and they walked me through the whole process, gave me an estimate of how long it would take, and got me a price estimate that evening. They were gracious when I wanted to follow along and learn about the process and even gave free advice on how to shore up a deck that I had not realized was installed improperly. He just happened to see it on his inspection of the crawlspace and told me how to fix it myself with parts from home depot. I was so pleased with the outcome of the work- they even did a little extra shoring with leftover lumber (never a bad thing when it comes to the structure of your house!) and took me back through to explain everything. There was a slight issue with the resetting of the door- it closed properly before they left and then the next day it had a tiny gap at the bottom corner even though it was deadbolted. I called them back and they came right back out to fix it. Now it's perfect! Must have settled. Anyway, I've had a hard time getting anyone to take my small(ish) jobs seriously around here. Even thought the structural work was huge to me, I interviewed a couple contractors but felt like I was pulling teeth with most. Shawn/Master's was quick, courteous, and I felt like my jobs were important to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any jobs- big or small!
Masters Construction was an incredible find for me. I'm a real estate investor and all the work they did for me was absolutely top-notch. Not only that, but they were timely and very professional. I'd highly recommend them for any new home construction or other large projects.
