From start to finish we were very impressed with Dmitry as our contractor. He took time to help us create our space with rendered drawings and material selections. He was honest and quick to correct any issues we had come across during our reno. We have already recommended him to friends and will be happy to have him complete our kitchen in the upcoming months.
The crews were all friendly and respectful, keeping the reno area clean and clear. Budget was on point with the original estimate and overall it was good value for the price.

RIght from the start Dimitry was precise, professional, answered every question we had, and was super easy to get a hold of. His crew (shout out to Vitali who was amazing) was quick, super nice, and worked around the fact that we had a dog on site every day. From a completely unfinished basement, so what we ended up with completely exceeded our expectations. The price was super competitive, and the timeline he gave was bang on! Ran into two little hiccups, but Dimitry made them right immediately. Highly, highly recommend Bedrock Basements!
Edit: Dmitry is the man! Six months after the amazing basement renovation we were having some issues with flooring and caulking in other areas of the house. Dmitry and Vitali diagnosed the problem immediately and found a great HVAC guy to add a whole home humidifier at a great price. An honest customer service oriented company who backs it up with great work. Highly, highly recommended!

I would start by saying I’m not an easy client to deal with. From our first meeting with Dmitry we kind of knew we were going to go with Bedrock Basements. This turned out to be a fantastic decision.
At the design stage, Dmitry shared 3 different drawings and options within a range of our budget. We were adamant on a permit and Dmitry didn’t hesitate to help with that.
We were constantly updated about timelines and various trades and their visits. I had a thousand questions and Dmitry was patient in answering each one of those. This was key because I wasn’t getting this comfort with some of the other contractors I made inquiries with. Along the way, we kept on exploring new ideas and changes which Dmitry was able to accommodate at a reasonable cost (given our budget constraints). There were certain hiccups along the way but Dmitry owned it all and made sure things were done the right way even though we didn’t notice anything wrong. He would notice things and have them corrected right away.
Ultimately, we are very happy with our new basement that’s been transformed into something functional and beautiful (and certainly exceeded our highest expectations).
