What started as a simple kitchen renovation with Elliam Contracting quickly turned into a full home renovation and we couldn’t be happier! From day one, Mike and his team were professional, provided great advice and feedback, and had incredible attention to detail. Their entire work was done with care and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do. The kitchen was so beautifully done that we decided to continue with the rest of the house, from renovating the entire upstairs, including bathrooms and a new laundry room. Everything turned out absolutely perfect. Mike, Sam, and the team were reliable, respectful, and genuinely great to work with as they were always on time, always kept the home clean and tidy, and always made sure we were happy with the progress. We are grateful to find a contractor with such professionalism, attention to detail, honesty, and a positive attitude. We had an incredible experience working with Mike and the team at Elliam Contracting. Mike responded to our quote request right away and even came by the same day to assess the project. We renovated the entire main floor of our home, (including the kitchen, new skylight, new floors, new exterior doors, and we added a laundry room) as well as new stair cases flooring, trim and new windows to the upper floor. We also opted to update our electrical and insulation. Work began on June 2 and from that point forward there were trades in our home every single day—sometimes even weekends. The project moved quickly and smoothly, and every tradesperson who came through our door was kind, professional, and hardworking. We chose to stay in the home during the renovation and our space was kept clean and was well respected. Mike texted us every morning to let us know who would be on-site and when, and he listened to all of our design ideas while helping us figure out the best way to bring them to life. We added to the scope along the way, and Elliam Contracting had no issue adjusting timelines and budgets as needed. Although we went over the original budget, it was due to upgrades we chose to include, and Mike made sure we were always informed and educated on best practices and products. As someone who is very detail-oriented and likes to be in control, it was a huge relief to feel supported by a team I could genuinely trust. Mike proved himself every step of the way, and we are so grateful. Renovations can be stressful, but choosing Elliam Contracting was one of the best decisions we made. We highly recommend them!
