J.T. McDermott Remodeling Contractors L.L.C.

McDermott Remodeling Contractors did a fantastic job with my whole house remodeling project. Everyone there respected the mid-century features and feelings that I wanted to preserve in my family home of 76 years. The owner, Josh McDermott, was very involved with overseeing the project and visited my house every Thursday. Issues that arose were amicably and satisfactorily resolved. Brittany Allen, was my very creative designer, and she helped me greatly in the design phase and later planning. My Lead Carpenter, Joe Millea, was hard working, very talented, and conscientious about solving some complex challenges of an old house. Rob Ledee, Production Manager, was also great at solving challenges and coordinating the work. Everyone I encountered at McDermott was friendly and caring. And a shout-out to Barb and Amy in Administration for their wonderful assistance. The project was not cheap, and it ran over budget due to surprises in the walls of an old house, but it was worth every penny for the JOY I feel when I admire the beauty and fine quality of my “new” home. In my experience, I got what I paid for, and more.

We had J.T. McDermott Remodeling out to help us define the scope for a remodel and they were fantastic to work with. Communication was easy, they were very detail-oriented, and you can tell they’re extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They walked us through our options clearly and made the process feel organized instead of overwhelming. Really professional, and I would absolutely recommend them.

I hired McDermott to reflash an upstairs window that my builder would not honor to correct. I am absolutely satisfied with the attentiveness, quality of work and professionalism of this company. McDermott went above and beyond to ensure I knew what was going to be done, how it was going to be done and when it was going to completed. I will be using them again for future projects.

?????????? I recently hired JT McDermott to design and build a home theater and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience from start to finish. The quality of work was outstanding, and every detail was handled with care and expertise. Special recognition goes to Lead Carpenter Joe, whose communication was exceptional throughout the entire process. He made sure I understood each step, provided helpful updates, and answered questions clearly and promptly. His professionalism and attention to detail truly put me at ease. It’s rare to find a company that combines craftsmanship, transparency, and genuine customer care at this level. I highly recommend JT McDermott to anyone in need of reliable, top-tier home repair/improvement services. Josh has a great team! Megan and Barb really walked us through that process and Joe made the dream come true! I’ll definitely be returning for future projects! Ameed & Tish
