Before selecting Precision Homecrafters to remodel our kitchen and enclose our screened porch, we sat down with the owners of PHC (Joshua and Jennifer Dean) to learn more about the company and their way of doing things. We found them both to be focused on the importance of quality of workmanship throughout all phases of our project, so expectations can be met, or even exceeded. Also, we have always enjoyed an ease of contact with them both, as well as with each member of their production leadership. Our project manager and subcontractors share the same friendly spirit and desire to serve and satisfy clients. We always looked forward to their on-time arrival each day and they have always been like welcome guests in our home. Each one has acted as such with pride in their workmanship and attention to detail. Every experienced PHC designer is a delight and easy to work alongside and quickly picks up on clients’ preferences. Much like the project manager, the designers think of even the tiniest detail to ensure that all improvements will actually meet clients’ needs.Additionally, the PHC office staff is very congenial and project payment schedules are organized to be accurate, efficient, and easy to understand with clients’ payments easily delivered. The entire PHC staff is not satisfied until their clients are satisfied. We had a great experience from start to finish! We learned about Precision from a personal recommendation, and I too would recommend them! We remodeled our kitchen and upgraded our living and dining. We had some ideas, but they made them come to life with their drawings and 3D renderings. They were transparent throughout the process and timely with delivery. But on top of all of that, the work that was done was beyond our expectations. The cabinet company was easy to work with and we were super impressed with their craftmanship. All subcontractors were respectful of our home and did a fantastic job. Lastly, after the job was completed, we met with them again to talk about what worked and didn’t. We worked with Precision to do a massive addition on our house by adding an entire second floor while we lived there. There were some immediate things that stood out to me about their process that I believe are part of their success. First, everything is planned out in extreme detail from the beginning. This means getting the architectural drawings plus every finish selected before the contract begins. This allows them to source products early to eliminate stock outs and you know going in exactly what the cost will be. The transparency was so beneficial in keeping everyone on the same page because there are a million decisions when you add on to your house. It also allowed them to stage deliveries of product when work was supposed to happen seamlessly. Second, we got a whole team of support beginning with a project manager who is onsite daily plus support of the design team etc. Living through an addition meant workers were often in our house 6 days a week and while that was a bit tiresome it meant the project was progressing and there was never a lull in the work being done. We lived through a tornado hitting our street, an intense freeze, some window issues, a water leak caused by a manufacturer issue and through every issue that came up our project manager, Neil, was on top of it and got it resolved. Every single person we came in contact with through the process was professional and positive. Construction projects are not easy and I was so impressed with the level of attention the team provided. Our space is absolutely beautiful and it has made us fall in love with our house all over again. Precision is who I will always contact first for any home renovation need in the future.
Precision Homecrafters recently completed a renovation of our bathroom and closet. The designers were amazing, and they helped from the conception phase until the end. We weren't really sure what we wanted but they took care of all the details. Everyone in the compnay were courteous, on time, and honest. Their subcontractors and employees were all friendly, on time, and professional. Nothing in home remodeling ever goes perfectly. The measure of whether a company is worth doing business with is determined by what they do to remedy the situation. When an issue arose, they handled it quickly, communicated well, and made sure it was fixed properly. They don't cut corners, and will build it the right way for you. We have worked with many home companies over the year, and some we would not do business with again. I would definitely use Precision again if we have another project come up. As a business owner, I appreciate their follow-up and concern for their clients, and ensuring the customer is fully satisfied with the job before signing off. Thanks so much, Precision team!
We used Precision several years ago for a tear down of our old deck and a complete design and installation of a new deck with covered roof, fireplace and other features such as lighting. The deck has become a focal point of our home, a great investment and has held up beautifully. Working with Precision Homecrafters was a dream-the entire team is professional, kind and always came through for us. On the front end, Josh even drove us to look at several other decks in the area so we could decide what we wanted and see other projects they had done. We were also paired with an interior designer who helped with selections of furniture, the fireplace and other features of the project. We were highly pleased and highly recommend Precision Homecrafters. We would definitely use them again for future renovations. All employees were highly responsive, easy to work with and we stayed within budget as well!Update-About 4 years have gone by since our original deck was constructed. We needed help with sealing the deck and other painting work not related to the project. The guys were, once again, HIGHLY responsive, assisted with finding someone to get the work done and helped with facilitating the entire process at a very reasonable price. So not only will Precision be helpful during the project, they will help you maintain it for years to come! With extensive experience with remodeling as well, they can assist with any aspect of your home that needs attention or maintenance. Highly, highly recommend!
