We had been thinking about renovating our house top floor for many years but could not settle on a layout we felt confident with — especially since it involved relocating the gasline and stove, taking down a wall, and moving an exterior door. That all changed when Darren stepped in. He saw the potential immediately and offered suggestions that finally brought the vision together. His foresight and ability to reimagine the space gave us the confidence to move forward with the project. Darren was so lighthearted and joyful that it caused us to feel more relaxed throughout the whole reno.

This was a major renovation that included a full kitchen remodel, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and a new fireplace. Throughout the four-month journey, the entire team at Above and Beyond Home Concepts lived up to their name. From the first meeting to the final walkthrough, they were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent problem-solvers.

A special thank you to Larry Serpa, our project manager, who guided us at every step and always offered helpful suggestions whenever we were unsure. He explained everything in detail and helped us more than what we could ever thank him for. And to Brad, who was so friendly and kind that he eased our minds right from the start. We also want to acknowledge all the trades involved — flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling, HVAC, and the office staff. Everyone who stepped into our home worked with care, professionalism, and pride in their craft.

Our neighbours, looking upon the activity at our house, commented that they could tell our workers were good because they were so quiet and neat. We were proud, and are proud, to brag about ABC as our contractors.

We are thrilled with the transformation and would not hesitate to call them again for our next renovation. The entire experience was positive, and the finished result has exceeded our expectations.

Here comes the long delayed review ?? We want to Thank the Above & Beyond Concept team who helped us get our lives back together! Our apartment was flooded in January and severely damaged from top to bottom. We lost our confidence and trust in our strata insurance team so my neighbour referred A&B to us.
Brad, Kevin, Sherry and Darren are great to work with, most importantly the communication was excellent! During that stressful 8 months away from home time, we really appreciate their clear communications and always keep you on top of every step in the process. Shout out to our lead Kevin and his amazing team, when he said he would take care of it, he sure did his best to make happen!!

My long awaited review on my kitchen and flooring Reno. Above and Beyond were a dream to work with for this job. Brad and Sherry were excellent communicators and you can tell they’ve been in the industry long enough to work through any challenges that might come up on site. I had my flooring all removed and replaced, and countertops all redone along with backsplash. All work was completed to scope and the team worked well with the required strata restrictions and had all the approved documentations (insurance etc). If you have a Reno project in need of a professional group with industry knowledge, I would fully recommend Brad and his team to get the job done right.
