He once checked in after a project was completed to make sure I was satisfied. I told him I was, but he still stopped over to check on the work a few weeks later. He noticed details I had missed and fixed them immediately! The team truly goes above and beyond!

We recently renovated a century-old home in Brookline, and working with Cathal of Boston Irish Construction was a key factor in making the project a success. The scope included a complete modernization of the home’s electrical wiring, extensive plaster work, replacement of multiple windows and doors, and building custom radiator covers. Cathal also went above and beyond by ordering and coordinating the installation of our new appliances (and even securing a discount).He was a clear and consistent communicator, always kept an eye on the budget, and delivered the project right on estimate. Having worked with several contractors over the years, I can confidently say he is by far the most honest and trustworthy. He took multiple changes and additions to the scope in stride, and it was genuinely a pleasure to have him and his carefully chosen subcontractors around. Highly recommended.
Cathal has reconstructed a three story deck for us as well as working on our roof and doing interior ceiling repair work. He and his team are thorough, communicative and hard working. They are good value for money and very fair in the prices they charge. I would highly recommend him.
Cathal was able to perform a number of jobs for me including a full wardrobe renovation as well a couple of other improvements. He is both professional and friendly, communicative on the job, and brings a wealth of experience from his extensive prior work to be able to recognize and efficiently work through all the inevitable challenges to home improvement as they come up--the end result is fabulous, and I have a better handle of my own place too.
