Working with Dmitriy at VIP Remodeling was, without exaggeration, the best renovation experience I’ve had — and I say that as someone who has renovated more than a handful of homes over the years.
This was not a small project. It was a complete gut renovation with a high-end, high-concept design. We reimagined the entire home: the creation of a second master suite with a spa-level ensuite bath, a fully custom kitchen, beautifully designed bathrooms, a statement media wall, coffered ceilings, accordion sliders, hidden doors, and so much more. It was ambitious and detail-heavy — and it required someone who could execute at an extremely high level. Dmitriy delivered across the board.
What sets him apart is his attention to detail and his unwavering “do it right” mindset. There were no shortcuts. If something wasn’t right, it was corrected. If there was opportunity to improve the design, it was presented. The craftsmanship throughout the home reflects a level of pride and precision that is increasingly rare.
For a large portion of the three-month remodel, I was living across the country. That could have easily added stress or uncertainty — but it didn’t. Dmitriy kept me consistently updated without me having to wonder how things were progressing. His communication was proactive, thorough, and reassuring. I always knew what stage we were in, what decisions were needed, and what was coming. That level of availability and communication built tremendous trust.
Another strength is Dmitriy's design insight. Drawing from years of experience, he offered thoughtful suggestions on layout, finishes, architectural details, and functionality — always walking through the pros and cons so decisions felt strategic and well-informed. He doesn’t just execute plans; he elevates them.
The finished result exceeded my expectations. The home feels intentional, cohesive, and truly custom. Every line is clean. Every transition makes sense. Every feature feels purpose-built. It’s exactly what I envisioned and better.
Having renovated other homes, I confidently say this was the smoothest, most professional, and highest-quality experience I’ve had. I would work with Dmitriy and VIP Remodeling again without hesitation.
