Could not be happier! Everything was done exactly as promised and the job was kept as clean as possible. Mark and his team were extremely professional and worked hard to get us in on time. The attention to detail was awesome as well. There are many things to say there but I can sum it up with this one. When the tile started going in I was asked to take a look because one of the HVAC registers was 3/16 of an inch out of square with the wall. When they stopped for that, I stopped worrying about the rest... lol.Cannot recommend Shtefworks strongly enough. If you need a remodel this the team to use.
My husband and I seized an opportunity to purchase a hard-to-come-by condo just before heading overseas for 6 weeks. We needed to completely update the condo and wanted to get the project underway prior to our departure. We met with several contractors including Mark from Shtefworks Construction.Mark showed up on time with a notebook and we walked through the condo and discussed all the updates we wanted to make. He was genuinely interested in helping us achieve our vision and brainstormed ideas with us, including providing advice and options.He quickly provided a detailed estimate which listed the scope of the work to be performed and was broken down nicely by each job aspect. It clearly stated the types of materials to be used and detailed items we would need to provide outside the scope of the contract. (i.e. appliances, light and plumbing fixtures, etc.). It also outlined the contract price and payment schedule with progress payments as work was completed. All in all, it was comprehensive and clearly stated how the process would be performed.We chose to have Mark do the work and are very happy we did. He was in constant contact with us while we were out of the country. Even with extreme time differences, Mark always made communicating priority one. We received photographs of the work that had been done and photos of items that required decisions before proceeding further.After we returned, we met up with Mark and walked through our condo. We met his team and have to say that he has a great crew of guys that work for his company. It is obvious they have worked together for a while and coordinate their efforts. Mark was good at problem solving and was flexible when any issues came up.The work Shtefworks performed was excellent. They installed all-new flooring including hardwood with cork underlayment and tile. They added outlets, moved light fixtures when necessary and completely remodeled our two bathrooms--the shower and wall tile installation was beautiful. They built-out our kitchen island to make it larger, added double doors to beautifully enclose the open HVAC closet, and switched us over to a tankless water heater. Everything was freshly repainted, including our doors and new trim work.The end result is our beautiful new condo! We did a final walk through, and they made sure everything was completed. While remodeling can be stressful, there was always a positive and fun environment with Mark and his team (with laughs along the way).

We created a true master bath by combining a small walk-in closet and bathroom with the help of Shtefworks. Samuel and his team did beautiful work. Mark was so helpful in making the thoughts in my head reality. It is GORGEOUS! Just what I wanted.
