5Stone remodeled my newly purchased 1909 2-story condo in its entirety. I needed a contractor that could take in charge the whole project (I had no time to micromanage), listen to my vision carefully (I had a clear esthetic in mind), manage all the intricacies of the remodel (permits, HOA, sub contractors, etc), respect my deadline (less than 6 months) and more importantly that I could trust that would transform each of my dollar invested (remodel is an expensive endeavor nowadays) into a quality deliverable. Now that the project is finalized, I can confidently say that 5Stone delivered on all these points. I would also add that the team is extremely professional and was very pleasant to work with. They respected my property like it was their own home. I can only say good things about this company.

We can not say enough outstanding things about 5stone and Marc. As we had our house on the market and were moving we had a pipe burst and we ended up having to gut our entire 3 story home. Marc came highly recommended and throughout the project and after we can see why. We had to do the remodel remotely and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Marc acted with amazing and regular communication (which we were not expecting to get from a contractor), with integrity and our home came out shiner than a new penny! I feel so so grateful to Marc and his team for making our super emotional and overwhelming and unwanted remodel as pleasant and easy as possible. We wholeheartedly recommend 5Stone. From the beginning bid, Marc brought in every subcontractor for estimates. We knew that the bid would be thorough which was important given our 100 year old home. 5Stone was transparent with their side of the business and project, which is reassuring as the homeowner undertaking a large renovation. The crew was professional, courteous and receptive to feedback and requests. The project started and ended to the day that they said they would have it done by, which was no small feat amidst the shut down during the pandemic!
Without question, the best group of people I've ever worked with on a construction project. 5Stone gutted and re-did the kitchen in our 120 year old house.There was somebody in my house every day for (ugh) 16 weeks. But that's a good thing, because there was always progress, every day. And the people who were in my house: from the owner to carpenters to the office support who walked through to put our faces on our projects, were consistently friendly and helpful. My children knew all of their names and my dog was excited to greet them every morning.Schedules were frequently updated and communicated (sometimes daily) so that we always knew what was coming up and how our deadline would be affected. This was also carried into the billing which was paced with the progress of the project and very (very) clearly itemized.I am super-proud of how my kitchen turned out. Getting there confidently and smoothly was not what I expected. We are extremely pleased with the final product, and very grateful.5Stone gets an easy and very strong recommendation from us.
