Quality is the name of the game at Polo Builders! My house was in dire need of a renovation because it was poorly built in the post-WWII boom and suffering from neglect over the decades since. At that time, materials were in short supply from the war and a lot of shortcuts were taken when building houses.

The immediate thing you see from Polo Builders is quality. Their projects never skimp on materials and mine was no exception. Their team over engineered my renovation during the design phase to exceed Florida's strict building requirements. Then during construction their workmanship matched their design standards.

In my area there are many renovations occurring as a lot of the poorly built houses are either updated or demolished and rebuilt. During my project there were other properties nearby also under construction, and their contractors consistently remarked about what they saw with Polo. Words like "tight", "straight", "strong", "good looking", were said by other contractors who know what good work looks like and what bad work looks like. This may seem simplistic to some people, but it was extremely reassuring to hear other contractors compliment the work being done. The same could be said for government employees performing various inspections over the course of the project. Phrases like "beautiful home", "I can wait to come back out for the final inspection", and "this is a great project" were spoken on multiple occasions by inspectors who also see construction work all day every day in their jobs.

After the 2024 hurricane season that saw impacts from Debby, Helene, and Milton, my house was standing tall. Not a shingle out of place, not crack in a window, nothing! At the outset of the project, Val said "we're going to build you a bunker" and that promise absolutely came true after a punishing hurricane season.

Polo's team also works with you during all phases of the project to ensure success. My project required multiple reviews from the local government before work could begin, and Polo was there to support me. This even included them participating in public hearings on my behalf, which I greatly appreciated.

The property and the renovated home are one of the standouts in a neighborhood that already has a lot of charm. Neighbors are proud to be adjacent to the property now, and visitors who come in to the area for events also compliment me if I'm in the yard about how beautiful the house is, and they ask who the builder was. Without hesitation I say Polo Builders!

After completing construction and closing out the project, Val, Noella, Olenka, and other team members at Polo have worked with me to answer questions or connect me with reputable contractors and tradesmen as well. Unlike a national builder who only provides "spec" or tract designs with limited choices, and you'll never hear from them again after they take your money, Polo stands by their projects and continues to support their customers.
