I can highly recommend Buck the Builder for all your remodeling needs! In January (2026) I had my tub removed and a tiled shower installed.
From the very first phone conversation with Buck Hogue, I was impressed. He spent about 45 minutes with me discussing what my vision was, answering questions, offering information and choices/possibilities. We then set up an onsite visit. He was professional and so very organized! The process was discussed and agreed upon and they met all my expectations. They kept me informed and up to date on which service would be showing up each day (demo, plumber, etc.). Jesse, the project manager, was amazing. He showed up every morning to meet with the company and discuss what that particular company needed to accomplish that day. He stopped by every evening when the crew was finishing up ( or had left) to inspect the work. Always sent me an end of day report as to what had been done that day and what was to be done the next day. He also, went above and beyond! He knew I was worried that my two cats would get out. He made sure he reminded the workers each day about watching out for the cats if the front door was opened for any length of time. Several times, I was out of town and Jesse hunted down both cats and sent me pics of them letting me know they were inside and safe and sound! lol. Each day they cleaned up the area for me so that I could use the sink and toilet when they were not there. (I have only one bathroom in my home.). By the way, every company/crew they used were professional, timely, and friendly. I barely knew they were there most days!
Again, I am so very impressed with this company: professional, friendly, and so very organized-from start to finish! I enjoyed working with Buck, his wife Renee, and Jessie. I love my new walk in shower and it turned out to be even more beautiful than I was hoping! Give them a call; you will not regret it!

Okay folks, if you are looking at these reviews for Buck the Builder, you are probably planning on having some home renovation project completed. You will notice there are outstanding common threads throughout these reviews, such as communication, organization, professionalism, proficiency and efficiency. Believe me all the aforementioned accolades are true and if you select Buck the Builder you will not be disappointed. We had our kitchen remodeled this past September/October 2025 and could not have been happier with the entire process and finished product. Before I chose Buck the Builder as the general contractor for my whole home remodel, I knew the owners, Buck and Renee, personally, so I knew what wonderful people they were. It wasn’t until I learned of their detailed planning process and dedication to quality that I KNEW they were the ones to whom I could entrust my major project. A project’s success (especially one as large as mine) depends on extensive planning upfront so that there are very few delays, surprises, and unexpected costs later. My 66-year old house was a gut job. It needed all new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, and windows. Because of the time spent on detailing the scope of work (including renderings so that I could actually see what it would look like) and making design choices before work began, the remodel of the house came in on time and extremely close to the original budget. Construction is never perfect - mistakes are made and unexpected issues show up once walls are opened. The key is having a contractor that is an honest communicator and makes things right. You can trust Buck the Builder to do that. The quality of work was impeccable, and I now have the home of my dreams! I highly recommend Buck the Builder for any remodel project. They are the BEST!
