Kitchens are a big investment and so it took me a long time to pull the trigger on updating our tired, too small kitchen. I tried several companies and different designs. I heard about Kenwood through one of the kitchen showrooms and stopped by their Columbia showroom. I met Kate Zahradnik and instantly felt as if I was respected and my ideas were heard. I interviewed 4 designers total and decided to go with Kenwood. They are a quality company which stands behind their work. The design process was just right for me. Kate didn't pressure me but gently kept me on track. She listened to my concerns and made a plan which came within our budget. She also reassured me about my countertop choice giving me the courage to end up with a show-stopping design. The project manager, Mike Kerns, kept the project moving at the projected pace and finished on schedule and on budget. Mike also returned and fixed a problem I had with the garbage disposal. Kate designed a kitchen that is aesthetically beautiful and amazingly functional. By removing a peninsula and adding a few feet to my existing kitchen I now have loads of storage, counter space, and a design which flows well for a single cook or for a crowd (I have a largish family). To say I am pleased is an understatement. From start to finish this was an excellent experience. The subcontractors were great craftsmen and were respectful and always on time. I wish all my home improvement projects could go as smoothly.

Fantastic experience and their very professional team built our new custom Kenwood kitchen. Austin (design), Mike (project mgt), and Bill (carpenter with an eye for detail), and their teams and specialists did phenomenal work and hit a deadline for a custom kitchen that included hosting Thanksgiving for our extended family. The whole family loves our new kitchen and I highly recommend Kenwood for any of their custom work!

After inviting 3 Kitchen designs companies to provide me with their concepts for my new home and finding none of them willing to work with the existing space, I asked a friend whose kitchen although large was well laid out and cook-friendly. It was done by Kenwood Kitchens. It so happened that several of my friends and their friends used Kenwood to design and build their new kitchens. To a person they loved the finished product and highly recommend Kenwood. So, I visited Kenwood’s showrooms and met Kate Zahradnik. She spent time with me at my home to learn what was important for me, an enthusiastic cook whose kitchen was too big for cooking efficiently but excellent for entertaining. Kate created a highly efficient modern designed kitchen that reminded an inviting space for entertaining. There was no challenge insurmountable for Kate and the installation team. On day-1, they delivered a 3-ringed binder complete with my contract and fully detailed design build drawings that had all the specifications for every item that made up the kitchen. The team was to a person professional and kept to their time and budget schedules. Kate remained available at anytime to answer my and the installation team’s questions. There were no overruns neither in schedule or price. I became another happy customer of Kenwood Kitchens. I highly recommend them and Kate. Special mention to the owner Steve and project manager Mike they ensured that I was completely satisfied with the completed project. I unreservedly recommend Kenwood Kitchen. You can’t go wrong with them.
