Nicholson Builders

We could not be more pleased with the work that Nicholson Builders did in our home. Not only was the work professionally done, but the workers were a pleasure as well. During the many weeks they were here, they arrived on time, cleaned up when they were done, and knew how to handle every situation that came up. It's nice to finally find a trustworthy company that does exceptional work!

We bought our house in 2023 knowing it needed a lot of work. One of the biggest issues was an awkward floorplan and small kitchen on the 1st floor that wasn't working for our growing family. We partnered with Nicholson Builders on a major renovation project that ran from May to September 2024. The results were transformational and we couldn't be happier with the end result! The new space is modern, functional, and beautiful. Everyone we interacted with including the design consultants, architect, and project manager demonstrated attention to detail, professionalism, and excellence in customer service. When problems came up, mostly because of mistakes made by subcontractors, the Nicholson team jumped in and solved them quickly. You can really tell that they stand behind their work and have a company culture that values customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Nicholas Builders if you can afford their high quality services.

I can't speak highly enough about the experience we had with Nicholson Builders. We had there small projects team come out and do the flooring for the upstairs portion of the house. They were so great about keeping lines of communication open, keeping us updated and getting things done as efficiently as possible. We live in German Village and therefore have an old home. The upstairs flooring was bouncy and squeaky and those were the main reasons for the flooring update. I cant believe that they were able to get rid of every sinlge noise and every single uneven portion of flooring. They said they could snd they delivered in that. It has truly transformed the whole space. I also want to give a huge shout out to the team that came out and did the actual work. It's super important to feel comfortable with people who are coming into your home and these gentlemen were extremely nice, very professional and super tidy. The way they took care of every single detail and left the space looking not the same but BETTER than the way they found it was outstanding. You might pay a little more for the work that Nicholson Builders do, but you are definitely going to get the best results. We absolutely will be using them for our next project.

We have had quite a few projects performed by Nicholson Builders over the past couple of years, including the total rebuild of our brick front porch, the addition of a wooden ceiling in our foyer, a shower remodel with new tile, the addition of moulding on our stairway walls and the installation of a stainless-steel shelf on our rear deck. And we have several other future projects that we are planning to complete with Nicholson Builders. None of these projects are inexpensive nowadays, but knowing that a truly courteous, professional and experienced team is doing the work gives you tremendous peace of mind. This is the type of experience you will always receive from Nicholson Builders. From their office staff to their project managers to their technicians, you will never find a better group people to deal with. We love Nicholson Builders!

Nicholson renovated our kitchen last year and did an excellent job. They were really everything we could have asked for in a contractor. They offered the full range of services we needed, from consulting on the design to the many skills needed to complete the job with high quality. They communicated the schedule very clearly and delivered on time, all the while being cognizant and respectful of the fact that we were living in the house at the time.
