I visited the showroom at Pacific Living Contracting, where Al was helpful in guiding me to select solid maple wood beams for my fireplace mantels and floating shelves. The beams were beautifully customized with hand-scraped texture and finished with a durable coating.Delivery and initial installation went smoothly and on time. However, the caulking where the beams met the wall wasn't applied as neatly as I'd hoped, so I had my own contractor redo that portion. There was also a noticeable blemish on one of the living room beams, but when I raised it with Al, he promptly sent his experienced finisher to perform touch-ups, which resolved the issue satisfactorily.Overall, the craftsmanship on the wood beams was great. Al and his team were responsive to follow-up requests, and the project was completed with good communication.
Met Al at the showroom and chose the mantle and stain.Al organized the installation and from start to finish everything went smooth with absolutely no stress. I am so happy with the mantle and how it looks on my brick wall. The product is amazing and the service was great!

He was on top of all the details and getting everything done in an efficient manner- I never wondered when I would see a contractor, he kept me informed throughout the whole project. Everybody showed up when he said they would and they were great! Al was also so helpful in picking our materials. I don’t think our final result would have turned out as well without his guidance. The beautiful mantel and hearth just completed the look. I highly recommend working with Al, from start to finish, we felt like we were in capable hands. We are thrilled with the end result!
