My engagement with the business began positively. A deposit amounting to 50% of the anticipated bid was paid in advance, with the provision that it would secure the project and be returned or applied according to the terms of the contract.On the planned start date, Chris notified us that there would be an additional expense of about $3,800 to be included in the contract, which was not part of the original bid. Alternatively, he suggested proceeding without permitting to avoid these costs. We decided to stop the project before it started, as we could not afford that additional money needed and no longer felt we were collaborating with a trustworthy company that would suggest moving forward without permitting.I expected a straightforward process regarding the return of my deposit, as Chris promised before leaving that day. To my disappointment, communication from the business became inconsistent. Our inquiries concerning the deposit received ambiguous responses, often with incomplete explanations or, on occasion, no reply at all. Promised follow-ups went unfulfilled, and any effort to resolve the matter seemed to stall indefinitely.Despite being patient and flexible, we have yet to receive the deposit of $2663. The lack of transparency and timely communication has been especially concerning. Explanations and timelines for the return of our funds have come and gone with no resolve. It's troubling that you require customer financial commitment without matching it with ethical business practices.This experience has eroded our trust in this business. While initial interactions suggested reliability and professionalism, the failure to honor a basic financial commitment—returning a deposit—overshadows all positive aspects.Ultimately, a business’s integrity is proven not just by the quality of its services, but by its willingness to uphold fair and transparent practices. Working with Foustino and his team have been great! These guys are busy for a reason! Excellent work/craftsmanship. They are currently working on a kitchen remodel for us and have gone above and beyond expectations and even what was quoted so that every detail is addressed. Foustino is clearly focused on customer service and letting his work/team speak for him. Looking forward to finishing this project and any others my wife and I might need.
After 30 years my drop in Stove/oven gave out. Had to replace it with a slide in due to drop ins are hard to find. Unfortunately, I came across a predicament, where the foundation was not flushed to the floor where drop in stove was removed from . I called Cornerstone Construction and that afternoon they had someone come out to assess my need. The next day they attacked the problem and built up the area, hard wire the stove/oven and installed my overhead microwave. Needless, to say I was so impressed with their professionalism and skilled qualities. I highly recommend them. I definitely will use them again.
Such an Excellent and Professional company!!! We are very satisfied with our master bathroom remodel make-over. The owner, Chris was very helpful and patient with our questions. He was knowledgeable on areas we knew nothing about, he answered all of our questions and had the best plan for our interests and greatly affordable. The workers were proficient, consistent, thorough and respectful. We are extremely happy with how it turned out and highly recommend this company, Cornerstone Construction, for all of your home and commercial needs!!!!!
