We had RBR Construction build our home in 2018, and we truly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and well organized. We have used RBR construction for a few projects and Michael and crew (Carlos) have always been professional and a pleasure to work with. Most projects have been replacing house trim that is beaten down by rain and sun. This work has been around some large, expensive windows and the utmost care and attention has always been given. This last project was to update a front entry column pillar. I told Michael I would be open to doing something fancier then just replace the existing. He came up with a stone bottom and wood trip top that was exactly what I was looking for and really updates the house. He perfectly matched the stone trim that is on the fireplace, so this looks like it was always part of the house and not an afterthought project. Whenever a project presents itself, they are always my first call.
I smile every time I drive up the street to our house. We recently hired RBR to reside our nearly 50 year old home in Corvallis.They did an amazing job! Michael and his crew were prompt, hardworking and very respectful of our home and property.Michael met with us to discuss the project, options, pricing and value choices. And once we committed he got us on the schedule sooner than expected.His crew showed up on time and worked hard with great attention to detail.The price was competitive with bids from other contractors. Yet we did feel like we were being sold a “sales job”.The finished project is outstanding. We would definitely hire RBR for future projects and recommend them as one of the best contractors in this area!
Very happy to recommend Michael and and the whole RBR construction crew. We started out knowing we would need a full exterior trim, soffit, and siding replacement, and ended up discovering extensive dry rot damage, and a faulty roof installation contributing to the dry rot. So we ended up replacing the roof too! Michael's team took great care of the structural repair work, and were very respectful of our home space during 5+ weeks of work on site, taking great care to clear up and make sure our kids and dogs were able to safely play outside following their work days. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was excellent, and Michael was very patient with our decision making process - we did not draw up designs for the new parts of the deck and house, and he patiently worked with us to come up with practical and attractive design features. In the end there were the RBR crew, an interior paint crew, drywall repair crew, gutter crew, and electrical crew all sub-contracted in, and i have to say that scheduling and communication was excellent throughout. A couple of the sub contractors were a bit messy but i was sort of expecting that the high standards of RBR's crew would be hard to match. We are yet to get the dry weather window needed to get the exterior paint completed, and a porch cover re-installed, but I anticipate that the high standard of workmanship and communication will be continued to the very end.
