Mode Built is an excellent home renovation company. We used them to finish our basement and were pleased with the entire process.Selecting a renovation company is daunting because of cost and project risks. Mode quickly put as at ease with their professionalism and got the job done on budget and ahead of schedule.Mode managed the project in a "turnkey" fashion, They co-ordinated the trade crews and secured all necessary permits for the work, while knowing exactly what input we needed to give to make sure the end product was to our liking. Mode also made good suggestions about the project scope at the beggining, and also identified a pre-existing issue that needed to be fixed. The trade crews they used were professional and did quality work.Mode's staff were quick to identify, communicate, and resolve issues. The biggest plus was definitely their integrity and willingness to address issues even after the construction phase was complete.Highly recommend to anyone doing a home renovation project!
We were incredibly impressed with Mode through the entirety of our project. From support with design from Simon, to ongoing coordination efforts from Kelsey, and our project manager Jason, the team was fantastic to work with. It was a large scale project as they renovated our unfinished basement and carried some of the materials through the rest of our house and we couldn't be happier. From small details like matching our existing trim to tie the house together, to allowing us to make adjustments as needed, they were great to work with. I'd also add the app allowed us to track their progress, see when certain contractors would be on site, and keep track of the overall project. They were on time and within the agreed upon budget. We had a couple very minor warranty pieces after the project was complete and that process was also seamless. I couldn't recommend them more if you're looking for a reputable local contractor.

Simon came out for the initial assessment and was great – honestly, we wish we had just gone with Mode Built from the start and saved ourselves the headache.The whole project took about 12 weeks and came in on budget. Our designer Kelsey was amazing. We really didn’t know what we wanted at first, but she was so patient with all our questions and helped us figure out a design we absolutely love.Shaun, the owner, did our final walk-through himself and made sure we were comfortable with everything. He assured us that anything that came up after would be taken care of, and he’s kept that promise. His contractors have come back for touchups and made sure everything is perfect.What really stands out is that they genuinely stand behind their work. They care about making sure everything holds up over time, and that level of professionalism is hard to find.If you’re looking for a solid team for your basement in Edmonton, I’d definitely recommend Mode Built Inc.
