We had an unfinished basement with half-height concrete walls. We hired Ryan at Onyx Construction to come in and fur out the basement walls, frame around two large basement beams, and provide the finished drywall. As a structural engineer, I work with contractors all the time so I can tell you that Ryan is extremely knowledgeable in the work he offers. I will hire him for all the work on my home, and I highly recommend him for anything you're doing. He is extremely clean, polite, nice to my kids and wife and is quite good at his work. His job site is kept clean and when he leaves, your space is ready for you - no extra work on your part.The subcontractors he uses are top notch and they went above and beyond. My bathroom ceiling had some holes in it from some previous work I did and left unfinished, they took it upon themselves to patch those up while they were finishing their drywall. Very generous.While the work was going on, we needed to replace that patio door you see in the photos. Without skipping a beat, Ryan ordered up a new patio door and installed with ease far better than it was installed before. Done and done. Could not be happier.We liked his work so much we asked him to come back and frame up some new walls in the basement bedroom to provide a foyer at the garage entrance and in a single day he gave us exactly what we needed. Perfection. Seriously everything is so perfectly flush and square with all his work.Highly Recommend Onyx Construction.
