We couldn’t be happier with our new shower! We spent our time shopping around for affordable yet professional company to replace our builder grade tub/shower combo with a spacious walk in shower. The team at VA Kitchen and Barh helped us create something beautiful and functional within budget that blends right in with our existing bathroom. I recently worked with Virginia Kitchen & Bath of Fredericksburg to install a full bathroom and a wellness room in a completely unfinished basement space, and I could not be happier with the results. From the very first consultation through the final walkthrough, the entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for the customer experience.
John and Serap guided the project from the design phase through scheduling and project management. Their expertise was evident from day one—they offered thoughtful recommendations, helped refine the layout, and ensured that every design decision aligned with both my vision and practical construction considerations. The on-site construction was performed by RFJ Construction, with Oscar Romero supervising all daily work. Oscar and his team delivered craftsmanship of truly top-notch quality. Every detail—from plumbing to framing, electrical work, tiling, and finishing was completed with precision and obvious pride in their work. Oscar maintained excellent communication throughout the build, addressed every question with clarity, and ensured the workspace was clean, organized, and safe at the end of each day. It is rare to find subcontractors so dedicated to both quality and professionalism.
One of the standout aspects of working with Virginia Kitchen & Bath was their responsiveness. Every time I had a question, modification, or request, they addressed it immediately and without hesitation. Their communication was timely and transparent, making the entire renovation process smooth and stress-free. It truly felt like they were invested in the project’s success just as much as I was.

We just finished completely remodeling our master bathroom with Virginia Kitchen & Bath and are so pleased. They completely transformed our outdated 90s bathroom into a luxurious space with a large walk in shower and custom vanity. We also updated our hall bathroom and are so happy with it as well. We liked that we were able to go into the showroom to pick out all our selections with a designer and that Virginia Kitchen and Bath took care of ordering all of the selections for us. The remodel was completed on time and the crew arrived promptly each day for work. We had a few hiccups on the administrative side, but we are so happy with the end result. Virginia Kitchen & Bath has recently completed the renovation of my hall bath (which I mentioned last month would begin at the completion of my master bath).

The hall bath renovation is absolutely stunning. I never would have thought of a black/white/gray color scheme for a bathroom, but it turned out so vogue -- thank you John and Sera for the vision regarding materials and accessories you chose!

I asked for my bathtub to be converted into a shower. It turned out fantastic. Erick and his team did an amazing job with the installation of the new plumbing, tiling of the shower and shower floor, and installation of the lighting and cabinetry.

My ugly, old bathroom was so depressing. Now every time I step in my bathroom, I feel so happy. It has changed my life.

We had our kitchen completely remodeled by the Virginia Kitchen and Bath team and we were very satisfied with the service! The work is well done, we loved the choices for materials, the design appointment was simple, work was completed on time and scheduled quickly once we decided to move forward. John helped us with the design and pricing choices and Sera visited the site frequently throughout the project to make sure all of the details were covered. On top of cabinets, floors, and counters, we were able to remove a window seat, add a pantry cabinet, add a half counter, add an island (with power!), and replace our tiny sink with a nice deep basin. It feels like a totally new home and we are very happy with the decision to move forward. I think the best part was that we didn’t have to coordinate any work from beginning to end - John and Sera managed the details to get the materials to the house, coordinate what work was being done what day etc. which saved us a ton of time and stress if we had managed the project ourselves while we are both working full time and with a young child. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality remodel!
