We hired this company for the complete renovation of our basement and we are extremely satisfied with the result. From the first contact, the team was professional, attentive, and very transparent about the project stages and timelines. The work was carried out with care and attention to detail, from the insulation and walls to the finishing touches. The basement is now perfectly functional, comfortable, and much brighter. The text displayed in this company's ad inspires confidence and reflects a positive image of the company. Unfortunately, our experience with a reference from C.P. Construction did not live up to this promise.
We have all the photos demonstrating incomplete and poor-quality work, as well as text messages that illustrate the numerous excuses used to justify delays and broken commitments. These elements demonstrate a blatant lack of reliability and an unreasonable delay in completing the work.
We were also shortchanged by over $1,000, corresponding to the balance of a counter that the referred company was unable to cover (despite our $2,000 financing received more than a month in advance). And this is just one example among others. We are not demanding customers: we have worked with several contractors in the past, and we have never had such a disappointing, stressful, and distraught experience.
Furthermore, following our direct feedback on this company's website, Léo (Owner of C.P. Renovation) called us to express his satisfaction regarding the problems experienced during the renovations, but he never fulfilled them. Once again, we were disappointed by the unfulfilled promises.
