I needed my fireplace surround insulated to alleviate cold air coming through fireplace insert vents after taking down my chimney stack to below the roof line and having an electric fireplace insert placed. I called Gill Construction and they were able to do that for me! The gentlemen he sent to do this were so professional and nice and cleaned up the area after they were done! A great company either great people.
Our experience with Gill Construction was nothing less than excellent. From day one when we contacted their office until the very last day of completion of our home improvement project. The communication with Steven Gill and the main office was always clear , concise, and available. They are extremely organized and planned out our project with us in precise detail before giving us the estimate and moving on to materials. We were provided life like images of what our project would look like once completed and they were quite accurate. Once construction began Steven and his various contract partners communicated to us daily what was going on, what was completed, and even sent images of the project every evening. They were flexible and allowed for us to make changes along the way without any real sidetracking or heartache. Steven was on site checking work done almost every single day while the project was in progress. He made sure everything was done professionally and correctly. Thematerials used on our home were of high quality and the craftsmanship is to a very high standard. All personnel associated with this institution had excellent communication skills and positive attitudes throughout the entire process. We were never made to feel like we were ever getting in anyone’s way or inconveniencing anyone. We are very pleased with our final product and will ask Gill Construction to help us with future projects. We receive compliments on our home addition all the time. Our family has enjoyed it since completion. One last comment would be that they do the best they can to meet the timeline given at the beginning of the process. They are very friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone.
The whole team at Gill Construction were fantastic to work with! They kept me informed with timelines and schedules so I could be aware of everything that was happening. Matt, German, and all the different teams were excellent and I would highly recommend using Gill Construction for any future projects! Friendly, efficient , knowledgeable, and reliable! Their expertise helped us get our house ready to put on the market and we were able to find a buyer immediately! I wish we had called them sooner so we could have enjoyed a few years of added functionality and beauty before selling! They installed a beautiful new sliding door and storm door, replaced the motor and electronics on our garage door, and installed a new Bluetooth doorbell to replace our dated, broken bell. We definitely plan on working with them again when we buy our new home!
Gill Construction did a project for us which involved replacing a tub with a big senior friendly walk in shower. They also converted the old shower space into a storage area with shelves , painted the walls and trim, installed new luxury vinyl plank flooring, and installed grab bars, medicine cabinets and various other bathroom accessories. It took about 2 weeks start to finish. While it was somewhat inconvenient being without our bathroom it was worth it because everything was done with quality and attention to detail. The company's workers were hard workers and respectful of our house. All this and a price better than the shower in a day companies. We would definitely recommend Gill Construction to others based upon our experience.
Gill Construction was the only company out of the several I contacted that responded to my inquiry. Their admin Annie is great! Steven Gill came out to discuss my project and was easy to talk to. I had Gill Construction create a laundry closet off my dining area, and reverse the direction of the washer and dryer that had been accessed in the garage. They removed the wall between the garage and dining room, moved the plumbing and electric, added closet walls, raised the flooring, built shelving, added lighting, closet doors and reinstalled the w/d. I also had them enlarge the doorway to the garage to meet ADA standards. Steven Gill was very responsive to my questions and requests. Their online system for communicating progress daily was great. The crew members were professional and courteous. Fabrice set up the plastic sheeting to keep the construction dust out, and was great with the aesthetics and final details and cleanup. The closet blends in very nicely with the kitchen/dining area. Thanks to Steven and the crew, I am enjoying the convenience of doing laundry inside my house!
