Our house was built in 1976, and after living here for 18 years, a good portion of our kitchen was still original. Rudy and his team were incredible to work with throughout our remodel and the various repairs we needed. He began by giving us a detailed estimate for all the work we were considering, which allowed us to make informed decisions about how we wanted to move forward.
Rudy and his team carefully followed the plans we had developed with our interior designer. The quality of their work—as well as the attention, care, and pride they put into every detail—was truly exceptional. They also met their schedule at every stage of the renovation. Each week, Rudy provided a clear rundown of what would be happening, which helped us prepare our home for each phase.
I can’t say enough good things about working with 1626 Construction. Their craftsmanship and professionalism raise the bar for Austin and the surrounding areas. We should all be so lucky to work with a team that brings this level of care and ethics to their work.

1626 Construction was excellent to work with on our kitchen remodel. Rudy is a professional and responsive project manager who cooperated seamlessly with our designer. He established realistic expectations for the project timeline and scope of work and was receptive to our feedback. One specific item I appreciated from them was how they handled their site preparation and cleaning. To start the project, they set up professional containment to handle dust and debris control in the space. That is not always front of mind with a contractor, and going that extra step was greatly appreciated. When it came to fixing or touching up items in the kitchen, he and his crew handled them efficiently and with an attitude of wanting to deliver their best work product. We are so pleased with the final product and love our new space, and 1626 Construction was a huge part of that.

We highly recommend working with 1626 Construction for any home renovation projects! Expect a fair price from them and know that you will be taken care of with professionalism and care

Rudy and his team did a complete remodel of my 50 year old pier and beam ranch house. We encountered a myriad of unexpected issues from rotten subfloor/beams to quirky-hard-to-install new floor boards and super tight install space for new appliances. He and his team expertly handled every issue and worked many extra days fulfilling the demands of each situation, and did it happily and with such positive attitudes, even when I changed my mind midstream! I couldn’t be happier with the final results, the remodel is quite stunning and beautiful beyond what I envisioned! I highly recommend 1626 Construction for anyone wanting to remodel!

Rudy and the 1626 team were everything I could ask for in a contractor. We completed an extensive renovation of 2 bathrooms, kitchen (with skylight), master bedroom, and master closet with full demolition and some structural work. The work was high quality, and everything turned out even better then we envisioned. Our house is now a home. Rudy was extremely responsive and transparent, I received each week's itemized invoice promptly the following week without a single error over 16 weeks. Like any project we had some surprises and rework, but they were immediately brought to my attention and solved quickly and cost effectively. I would confidently recommend 1626 to any of my friends and family.
