We had several businesses come out to give us estimates on a bathroom remodel. Jack came out and was very professional and clearly a good contractor. I messaged him that we accepted his bid and we corresponded several times including Jack telling me how much tile to purchase. After a few weeks I messaged asking for a firm start date for our project and there was no response. I have tried several avenues to try to get ahold of Jack again, but I have been ghosted unfortunately. Now we are back to the drawing board. Heartbreaking.
We are incredibly happy with our bathroom remodel. It is now September and it was completed the beginning of June. Our shower was leaking into the closet downstairs, so we needed to get fix that issue. We had the whole bathroom remodeled. The process was great, quality work, very dependable, incredible communication.
We are so thankful to have found Jack for our kitchen/living room renovation! It was our first big home project and our space has some unique elements, which Jack helped guide us through a lot of decisions with patience and expertise. He was very responsive to our questions and flexible when we had some product delays which modified our original plan/timeline. He made sure our dream design came true - even if it meant lifting our 8x5 quartz island countertop through our second story balcony so it didn't have a seam.We ended up starting construction about 6 weeks after the birth of our first baby, which is a stressful time on its own, and Jack's entire team was incredibly accommodating while they worked. He also created a temporary kitchen in our basement so I didn't have to wash bottles in the bathroom sink.His craftsmanship was wonderful for our custom staircase, and he went out of his way to create a customized solution to a complicated downdraft situation so that some of our kitchen island cabinets could remain functional instead of being solely used for venting. He even worked late a few weekend days so our house would be ready in time for an event we were hosting. We are happy with how everything turned out and will definitely be using Jack again for any future projects!
Jack and his crew are the true definition of professional customer service! They treat your home project just like it is one of theirs. They pay attention to every detail and constantly have customer satisfaction front of mind. Jack and Dave remodeled 1700 square feet of our main level in our home. It was a complete gut job through the majority of this space which included a bathroom, kitchen, office, 2 bedrooms, laundry room and a staircase. They made my vision come a reality. My renovation turned out better than I could imagine and I would recommend and use F&J construction again!
Jack and his partner Dave are absolutely amazing. They constantly exceeded our expectations throughout the process. We could not be happier with our new basement.My wife and I have never had any remodeling work done, so it was a bit overwhelming & intimidating for us to start the remodel process. A few days after initially contacting F&J construction, Jack came to our home to look at our project, and provided us with an estimate. Right away it was clear to us that Jack was very knowledgeable and had lots of experience. Much of our anxiety was relieved after our first meeting. The estimate was competitive with the market and felt it was fair. Our project consisted of an entire basement remodel with a living area, bathroom w/ beautiful custom tile shower, and a bedroom/office.The line of communication keeping us informed about what was going on with our project was top notch. Jack provided us with weekly, if not daily updates on what was being done, and what was next. He always showed up on time and made sure we were satisfied with his craftsmanship, which is spectacular. It was obvious Jack and Dave treated our project as if it was their own basement.
