We had a major remodel done with TBI. Kitchen, dining room, mudroom, half bath, banisters, stairs, and flooring. I had talked to various other companies/contractors because we had a pesky 1950s indoor grill built into a brick wall and no one was willing to tackle it except Taylor. All I can say is WOW! From the beginning to the end (and beyond), they helped with design, gave us ideas, and carried out all of the work with professionalism and precision. Every single person that came into our home did great, professional, clean work. Jason was there almost every day to make sure that things were going as planned. They communicated with me nearly every day—which is huge to me. They listened to my crazy and made the whole process worth it and we ended up with a main level that is everything we wanted. I never dreamed that there was a contractor out there that is as attentive and thorough as they are. We are extremely happy and will be using them again in the future. I highly recommend everyone on their team. Shout out to Jason, Heidi, Gary, Baylee, Jack, Dom, John and everyone (electricians, painters, plumbers, counter top providers, etc) — especially Taylor for telling me that things could be done that others said could not and talking me into changes that scared me but ended up being perfect!
Very positive experience with Teachout Builders. Had an addition added on consisting of 1st floor laundry and bathroom. The work was done expertly. Pleasant work crew, super cleanup, good communication on work done, issues found and handled, great attention to detail. Very happy with Teachout, Taylor, Jason and crew.
A tree demolished our garage --it was rebuilt and we added new siding to the entire house, front door, etc. Taylor Teachout was most responsive and a pleasure to work with. Good design ideas. Jason, the site supervisor, was great. Outstanding communication. Very skilled and pleasant work crew. It took a while but we love our house!
Teachout builders is top-notch. After the arduous process of getting three bids and Making sure I was comparing apples to apples. Teachout ended up being the lowest bid. Craftsmanship is meticulous. Rot issues were resolved without extra cost. Best money I’ve ever spent.
Decided to invest in our home after becoming empty nesters. Had never done anything with the kitchen or bathrooms in the 24 years we lived here. We saw the TBI van around town, and had Taylor Teachout come and talk us through our major remodel - combined Kitchen/Dining/entry as well as full and half bathrooms. We had other area builders give quotes as well. It was a big learning process for us, and as expected it grew as we realized how upgrading one thing leads to a desire for a more complete remodel. Standouts include construction and design integral with Tailored Design Studio, excellent guidance regarding decision making and flexible, professional & responsive construction scheduling. Highly recommended!
