We hired Carlson Projects to remodel and update our three bathrooms and have been very pleased with the results! The two main-floor bathrooms shared a common wall that was removed and reconfigured to give us a larger primary bathroom that we love using!
While updating the lower level bathroom, our Project Superintendent discovered a leak underneath the original shower. We were so thankful that we had not hired one of the companies that feature one or two day remodeling. Carlson’s correctly repaired the leak and continued with our project as planned.
It was reassuring to work with Carlson’s staff from the beginning to the end of our project, knowing it would be done right. Stefan’s blueprints incorporated every bit of space available in the bathroom reconfiguration, Heather’s designs were so creative and beautiful, and Mark’s attention to detail and coordination of construction crews was impressive. All of the workers were masters of their craft, arrived promptly and always treat your project as if it’s their own.
We really enjoy our new spaces and have recommended Carlson Projects to numerous friends and neighbors.

I cannot say enough positive things about Carlson Projects! I had initially worked with two other contractors in Lincoln, NE for a price quote on a home remodeling project. These price quotes came back significantly more than I was expecting or wanting to spend. Carlson Projects was then referred to me by a friend. After reaching out to Carlson Projects, Stefan was very prompt in setting up an appointment to review the remodeling project and he listened carefully to what I was wanting to accomplish. After receiving their quote, I was surprised when their price came in at $40,000 to $50,000 less than the other contractors! I continued to work with Stefan to plan the remodeling project. Again, he was very communicative and prompt in answering all questions, emails and setting up appointments to prepare for the project. When it came time to begin the remodel, Rob was assigned as my project superintendent. Rob was also very communicative throughout the five month project. He was very easy to work with and quick to address and resolve any small issues that typically arise with a remodel. As a person, I am very detail oriented (some may call it picky). I was very pleased to learn this is also one of Rob’s characteristics and he did not let one small detail go undone during the project! He is also very talented at his craft of woodworking and his talent is now displayed throughout the house. I praise Rob for the extra effort he made to seal off other areas of the house and for keeping the areas he was working in as tidy and organized as possible throughout the project. I am very pleased with the final product (kitchen, living area, dining area, half bath and laundry room). I truly enjoyed working with Carlson Projects and would highly recommend them to anyone that is seeking an honest, reliable and reasonable contractor!

We are thrilled with our main level remodel. Our home was built in 2008 and we did a full main level facelift - new flooring, paint, some cabinet work, new light and plumbing fixtures, new hardware, etc. Carlson Projects is, without a doubt, the most responsive, transparent, trustworthy builder we've worked with over the years. We stayed on budget except for a few changes we elected to make along the way, and there were no surprises. They communicated well and showed up every day. Our onsite project manager Rob was detail-oriented, and incredibly thoughtful - he kept our home safe and clean. They were respectful of our time and our space as we were still living there during the remodel. They also kept track of the sub-contractors coming and going. They took our vision and made it a beautiful reality, and were open to our suggestions along the way, including the incorporation of subs we had previously used. Their follow-up and ongoing communication has been excellent. We have now been in the new space for over six months, and we have no complaints. We would be happy to provide a reference to any future customers.

We got both of the bathrooms in our house completely redone--both rooms torn down to their bare bones, with new walls, plumbing, electrical; the whole works. We knew when we started this project it was going to be difficult because of our 1920s house, but Carlson Projects made everything as easy as possible. Everyone on our team was a fantastic communicator and laid out every step of the plan clearly for us to understand where all of our money was going. We communicated the style we wanted and Heather & her team did a fantastic job of giving us ideas, but letting us have the final say with every decision. Our bathrooms are not only beautiful now, but more functional than ever. We are so happy with the work they did and they way they did it.
