MIH did work on the exterior of our home, i.e. replacing siding, installing faux stone, adding a deck, a front porch and a closet. All of the problems we experienced cannot even be listed here. I'll just say that I would not recommend this company. The work completion is contingent upon what contractors he can find at the time and whether he can pay them, even though he has already drawn your money to pay them. The job took way too long, things got broken/repaired, redone and when they finally left, we had an unfinished closet space, electrical wires hanging out of our dining room wall, a porch roof that leaks, an unfinished deck, missing gutters and other unfinished items at a cost of $40k. We agreed to finish some of these items, just to say goodbye to MIH. Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you!
We are currently in the final stages of our add on addition. We are getting a 14x24 closet room built to add to our bedroom. This is a complete renovation from roof to floor.Clint and his team Caleb and Cory are doing a great job and not cutting any corners. All of their work has been superior and upmost quality. I have been amazed at the workmanship and relationships going thru this process. I would highly recommend Clint for your next home improvement or any project you have. We are hoping for a March 1 completion date and other than a few bad weather days everything has gone on schedule. Will post pics once project is completed. We are extremely happy and excited with MIH Construction and so will you if you give them the opportunity to work for you.Thank you Clint and all who has been involved!!!!Terry&Irene FranksLubbock Tx
I hired MIH to build an office on the back of our home. The process was smooth with Clint and his team. He addressed any and all concerns I had through the process and kept his word in ensuring our satisfaction and that is hard to come by these days. Would use him at anytime moving forward!
I called MIH Remodeling to get a few windows installed and Clint responded. He was one of a few contractors I reached out to and although his bid was higher than some of the others, I chose to have his company do the work. Clint and his team were professional from start to finish. The project had a few hiccups but his team was able to resolve them and keep the project moving. I'd also like to shout-out to Justin, the drywaller and painter. He was top-notch with everything he did. I'd hire MIH Remodeling again.
Clint came by my house to give me an estimate on 2/24Upon arrival I told Clint that I wanted “all of the wood replaced with tile.” Clint agreed that he could do the job and gave me an estimate.I couldn’t find a tile that matched so I asked Clint if he could recommend weatherproof wood. Clint recommended trex, which I bought. He told me how much and I gave him the down payment…without hesitation. The morning that the job was suppose to be started, Clint asked me how I wanted the wood placed. I told him exactly how it was before. The guy that he had doing the job started it without even knowing what the previous placement of the wood was. He placed the boards wrong so everything had to be pulled up and redone.I started checking out the job and asked Clint why wasn’t the boarders replaced. He said that was never in the bid. This is a flat out lie. Initially, like I mentioned before, I wanted all the wood replaced with tile so you mean to tell me the boarder wasn’t going to be picked up to replace the tiles? Make it make sense. All in all the job had so many inconsistencies They also did not clean up the dirt and saw shaving mess that they made. When I mentioned the inconsistencies Clints response was “nothing is perfect and that he could point out many inconsistencies with my house!” I paid you to do a job if you couldn’t get it done you should have told me that! He was rude and unprofessional! They also never came back to do the caulking that clint agreed needed to be done (again unfinished work). He discounted me 310.00 (the price he added on because he had to put extra wood). I will not be using this company for any future business. He made a lot of excuses for the inconsistencies and I’m sure excuses will follow this review if/when they respond instead of him taking accountability.2,000.00 of my hard earned money for such sloppy work! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
