We got 5 quotes for our kitchen renovation and Snyder Group was literally double the next highest quote. We told them we didn't want anything fancy, no layout changes and no walls removed. Their quote was the least detailed and they also completely forgot to include an estimate for some remodeling we wanted in another room. Huge waste of our time!We ended up saving over $75,000 on the kitchen alone by going with another contractor. Do NOT sign a contract with this company until you've gotten several other quotes for the work!!!
This is the second home renovation project we have had with the Snyder Group. The first was the addition of a 4 Season room on our primary residence. Spencer provided suggestions, guidance and advice to create an addition that exceeded our expectations. We literally spend almost all of our time in this room which is bright and comfortable even in the dog days of winter. We were so pleased with Spencer and company that we didn’t even consider another contractor when we decided to remodel our kitchen in our townhouse at the beach. Once again , Spencer provided his expertise and creativity to completely transform a cookie cutter townhouse kitchen to a seaside escape. He not only helped us to create additional accessible storage with custom built in shelving but helped to change the layout to create an illusion of a much larger space. Most importantly, Spencer personally oversees the work being done and takes responsibility to ensure we are happy. He’s super responsive to any questions and guarantees his quality work. Yes you may be able to do a remodel “ cheaper” but keep in mind you get what you pay for. I would use and recommend no other contractor than the Snyder Group for your remodeling needs. Spencer helped to make what we envisioned a reality!
I had always envisioned a portico over our front door to provide shelter and enhance the curb appeal of our home. After an extensive search for a suitable contractor, I found The Snyder Group to be the only company that did not view the project as too small or overly complex. Although I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, Spencer from The Snyder Group offered valuable suggestions. Once I approved the initial sketches, he provided a list of vendors and finish selections for me to choose from. I made the necessary appointments, selected the materials and finishes, and then Spencer took over. His team was highly professional, ensuring a clean workspace at the end of each day and leaving no debris behind.I was so impressed with their work that I decided to hire The Snyder Group to renovate our 70-year-old bathroom. The project lead assigned to our renovation was exceptional, and we genuinely enjoyed having him work in our home for the two months the project lasted. We were actually saddened to see him leave upon completion. When the renovation uncovered a cracked cast-iron pipe, Spencer promptly arranged for his contracted plumbers to replace it, ensuring the project stayed on schedule.Following the successful bathroom renovation, we also hired The Snyder Group to paint the entire interior of our house. The painter they assigned was outstanding—professional and a pleasure to have around. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the portico, bathroom renovation, and interior painting done by The Snyder Group. Their team's professionalism, expertise, and courtesy throughout the process were commendable. I would highly recommend them for any future projects and plan to hire them again for our needs.
