Last winter, after years of hemming and hawing, we decided to add a third floor to our 80-year-old house. It was a complex project with plenty of unknowns and moving parts...the stuff of home renovation nightmares. Having been burned in the past, we were wary. But we braced ourselves for the worst and signed on the dotted line with Crimson.From start to finish, Glenn, Alex, and the team at Crimson did a phenomenal job. They communicated routinely so we always knew what was happening. The team was professional and respectful of our home, and every trade clearly took pride in the quality of their work. When the inevitable unexpected surprises arose, Crimson addressed them swiftly and fully. Even more impressive, the entire project was completed within budget (aside from a few extras we chose to add...it's a slippery slope folks).Now that it’s finished, we couldn’t be happier with the result. The new third floor is seamlessly integrated into the style and structure of our home both inside and out, and it has become our favorite space to spend time in. Crimson exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.
We're thrilled with the results of our new kitchen and bathroom. Glenn and designer Heidi helped our vision come to life, on time (almost to the day originally estimated!) and mostly on budget, save for the unavoidable challenges that come up when tearing down walls. Alex and the construction team were easy to work with, finding creative solutions to everything that came up. They really paid attention to the small details, and were very respectful of our space, as we lived in the home through the project. The whole team is so friendly too- Our kids already miss seeing their construction friends every day.Would definitely recommend and consider using Crimson again in the future.

We used Crimson Design and Construction to complete a remodel of a newly purchased home. Crimson supported the design, demolition, and construction and exceeded all of our expectations. They were budget conscious, but ensured that every dollar spent on the house went as far as possible while ensuring high quality.On the design process, my wife and I worked with Jenn, the interior designer, to make selections for a whole house remodel which ensured continuity and flow throughout the entire home. Jenn was fun and easy to work with, was patient and thoughtful, and helped us build a dream home while sticking to the budget.During the build and construction process, Glenn, Alex, and Kieth were an exceptional crew to work with. They were responsive, answering every phone call, email, or text, were flexible, letting us make changes on the fly, and did high quality work. The finished product is beautiful and we could not be happier.Crimson goes above and beyond in their projects. In addition to the work completed in the house, the team also provided little extras like painting in the garage and power washing the house siding and patios, despite not being included in the scope of the project. The project was on budget, on schedule, and the finished product is amazing.We would highly recommend Crimson; they are, simply put, the best there is.
