Serge impressed me with his enthusiasm and ideas for a raised deck, front step to match, and roofed overhang at the front. He is hardworking, honest & a perfectionist. His team are on time, friendly and professional. It's now a pleasure to use the deck and see the front of the house. I haven't regretted my decision to hire Serge. He has remodeled my entire home and it now looks like a home in a magazine. I now have stunning cabinets in black and white in the bedroom a beautiful ensuite. The kitchen has a gorgeous black granite island matching counters and display cabinets. The main bathroom is a work of art with large tiles, an on the wall toilet and a beautiful vanity and sink. The flooring is wide planks throughout the main rooms. Serge's ideas and designs flow from one room to another. He was born with a flair for decorating. No need to hire an interior designer. Serge replaced the red brick outside with light grey stonework that updated my home outside. A back deck, stone staircase on one side and wooden stairs on the other enhanced the look of my home. I highly recommend Serge and his team to create a gorgeous deck, landscaping or home for anyone.

We highly recommend Serge and his team at SONCE Homes. We recently remodelled the upper floor of our house - three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the laundry room as well as our staircase and powder room.

From the first meeting with Serge we knew he was the right person for us. While we knew conceptually what we wanted he brought it to life and suggested a number of things that improved the layout and design. He helped us pick the finishes such as flooring and tiling and bathroom fixtures and fittings.

All of the staff and trades that Serge works with did an excellent job. They worked hard and the project moved along on schedule. Even when things came up that could not have been anticipated when we started, he quickly came up with solutions and ideas.

Serge has an amazing attention the detail and the finished work is outstanding. It is more than we could have hoped for. Whenever anyone comes over and we show them around, the first word that comes out of their mouths is “Wow”. We have attached some pictures so you can see why.

So glad we googled contractors and found Serge. Words cannot begin to describe how pleased we are with his quality of work, his positive attitude and his wonderful team. We had the staircase remodelled and it looks super, both elegant yet contemporary. When our renovations started I was determined to put a runner back on the stairs, and all Serge said was "you won't want to when you see the final product". I of course was very sceptical. But yes we have no runner on the beautiful staircase ascending to our newly renovated second floor.
All we really wanted to do with the 2 guest bedrooms on the second floor was replace doors on the closets and paint. Serge recommended to replace the standard closets with built-ins, which would be more practical as one of the bedrooms is fairly small. It looks great and so much space in the rooms as dresser is no longer needed.

We had both bathrooms renovated as they were 25 years old and very outdated. I feel like I am at a spa every time I walk into our ensuite. The lighting in the bathroom wall niche is great, very relaxing to shower in the ambience.

The hit of colour in the laundry room relieves the boredom of doing laundry.

Overall our upstairs is very comfortable which is what you want to experience every time you enter a room in a home.

Serge did an excellent job replacing the deck on my house with a beautiful new deck that will stand the test of time. He is very knowledgeable about what is required to build a deck according to the Ontario Building Code and successfully arranged and passed all the inspections required by the Town of East Gwillimbury. He was excellent on communication, always available by phone or text and sending me pictures of the construction progress as I was not on site. He used quality materials and he charged me a reasonable price for my project. I'm very happy I chose Serge and would not hesitate to hire him again.
