Scheduled install of a shower, waiting 2 months. Took the day off. PJ calls me to verify the appointment the day before.Install Day:I was told they could not make it. I can just imagine how the service and any warranty claims will be handled in the future.Second Day, 18 December 2025:Installer doesn't know all the specifics of what we ordered. Example, how high the walls go etc. The sliding door we ordered; after asking the sales person repeatedly, is not going to work. There is to little space to go in and out, it would be a safety hazard for my disabled wife.The install canceled for the day. I wanted to cancel the installation entirely. My wife spoke with the installers, nice people. I called PJ, sure I was hot. I was hung up on. I drove to their location and got a managers number, after they unlocked the door to let me in. Called that number, but Jorge could not assist because he manages installers. He called the sales manager Chris who called me afterwards.Spoke with Chris, I agreed that if they could get a pivot door, we would go through with installation. I now wait on an update on a door and a third installation date.Update 5 January 2026:21 Days after wasting my time, they ask to take measurements of the shower for a door. So 3 weeks, they have not ordered a door. All they know how to do is waste time. Stay tuned for more updates. Can I give -star Reviews? Run away, do not buy here.This place is an absolute joke.Three months waiting now.Scheduled for install on 23 January, PJ called to see if they can install on the 21st, because of incoming storm. I agreed.William came to install the shower again. The shower was installed without incident. He work like 12 hours with his assistant. I was happy to have a shower again. We waited 4 days to use it so the chalking can cure.I waited a couple weeks to write this so I could check out the shower first.William did a great job, but, I am pretty picky. The things I noticed. A hole was drill incorrectly or something, I can see a hole in the shower edge. The shower drain is not centered. For the cost, I expect perfect. I raised the review to three stars only because of William. Otherwise, it would have stayed a 1 star. I still would not recommend due comparing price to results. Inasked during the sales pitch if all fixtures are metal. I was told yes. Both shower heads are plastic...Photos included.
Mr. Fix It ( which has been bought out as of 9/1/25) did a shower replacement for me. The installers were great. William, D.K., and Justin were very courteous while in my home. They put down drop cloths so demolition and construction dust would be minimized. The install was so great it almost looks like real tile. They got everything completed in 1 day and to my satisfaction. Thank you Rusty for going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied.
I just recently purchased my house and absolutely hated the shower...lolCharles one of the sales reps came to my house and presented me with so many affordable shower options, at that point I fell in love with the idea of purchasing a new install. Charles was patient and very knowledgeable in his job, which I found very impressive. Not too mention, he's nice on the eyes and great conversation....lol!Matt and Alan the installer was awesome with a Great sense of humor.. These men Rock!!!!! They explained the process as they went and really fast but detailed. Once it was all said and done, I was in tears full of enjoyment...I cant thank Mr. Fix It and their Amazing team enough. I'm already planning to get my second bathroom done. I highly recommend Mr. Fix It for your next install.Truly satisfied
On the morning of our scheduled tub-to-shower conversion, we got a call from Matt, our installation pro, who broke the news that the wrong shower door had been shipped. But Matt talked us through the options he had already come up with and accepted our decision to forego the door and proceeded with our installation. Eight hours later, we had a beautiful new shower with so many bells and whistles that we never missed the door. Matt and Allyn were a great team—a nice mix of ages, personalities, and responsibilities who respected our time and our home while inviting us to participate in every decision and witness every step of the process. Working with the Mr. Fix-it folks was an enjoyable experience that resulted in a beautiful finished product and two happy clients.
