We went through three home renovation contractors before landing with the Red Stone team in Oakville. The first two either didn't communicate well or didn't show up when they said they would. The Red Stone crew was different from the first meeting. Tony came prepared with questions, not just measurements. He wanted to know how we used the space, what mattered most to us, and what our timeline was realistically. That conversation set the tone for the whole project. We've already referred two people to the Red Stone team and both came back to tell us they had the same experience we did. Best renovation contractor in Oakville., new kitchen, updated bathrooms and all new flooring. Shukri managed the schedule and the trades came in organized. No waiting around, no confusion about what phase we were in. The project took about eight weeks and the result transformed the house. We've already referred two people to the Red Stone team and both came back to tell us they had the same experience we did.
Tony and his team at Red Stone Contracting did a great job with our basement renovation. They provided a fair and detailed quote and were available to answer any questions we had throughout the process. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do a renovation and hope to use their services in the future.
Buying a home in Oakville and planning a home addition right after closing sounds ambitious and it is, but Red Stone Contracting made the process manageable. We contacted them before closing, they assessed the property during the conditional period to understand what the addition would require, and we had a quote in hand before we even moved in. Tony's preparation meant permits were filed early and construction started three weeks after possession. The home addition added a full second floor to what was a bungalow, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a proper hallway. Shukri coordinated the full structural build and was on site daily through the framing and roofing phase. The finished second floor matches the original character of the house in a way that required real attention to detail. We've now been in the home for a full year and the addition has had no issues through all seasons. Red Stone Contracting earned our full trust.
We recently completed a full main-floor renovation on our 1910-built home with Redstone Contracting, and the experience was exceptional. Working with an older home can be daunting, but Tony brought a level of expertise and creative problem-solving that put us at ease immediately.Their showroom was much more impressive than we expected and truly served as a 'one-stop shop' for all our design elements. Their in-house design team was invaluable to us by drafting kitchen layout drawings and making adjustments as needed etc...Tony and his team were incredibly straightforward throughout the process. There were zero 'gotcha' moments or hidden surprises. As the project evolved, he kept us updated constantly and was incredibly flexible, even working seamlessly within our insurance company’s requirements as the scope changed. If you’re looking for a team that excels in, flexibility, execution, and high-quality design, I would highly recommend Tony and Redstone Contracting.
Orchestrating a big renovation in a very small home presents a lot of physical challenges. It was time for a fresh beginning for my tiny home after losing my Dad, Husband, Mom and Brother in the past 4 years.Upon contacting Red Stone Contracting, my hopeful to-do list was small but after being re-assured by Tony that they could do so much more - we took the plunge and he gave me the confidence that we could work through it - step by step and room by room.Tony's compassionate nature, fully understanding the fragility of my life at this time, was a huge reassurance that we could weather what was to come. With the mission to complete a bathroom gut, kitchen gut, rec room gut, laundry room waterproofing solution and an interior garage update - we put a plan into place on how to move forward. After prepping the house, moving a million things into other rooms - Red Stone began in July and the renovation was completed in 3 months. A unique situation of attacking each of these areas is what resulted in the renovation taking this amount of time. Of course, no renovation of this size comes without issues along the way. So having a contingency plan for spending is highly advised. I had more water issues than I had hoped for. Plus taking into account that I couldn't live in the house while this was going on.I worked with a design expert at their office to choose all the finishes and design aspects of all the rooms. I wanted the end result to reflect my personality and not just end up with a sterile monochromatic look - and Isabella appreciated and had fun with me while we chose all the finishes - from cabinets to hardware to paint colours. She was amazing and I will always remember her with great fondness. After all is said and done - and even right up to this moment in time - the contractors and subcontractors are highly skilled and the end result is professional, detail oriented and worth every ounce of time and effort spent in getting this done. They came back a few times to fix small finishing things and honestly, I couldn't be happier.I am proud to recommend Red Stone Contracting and I can't thank Tony and everyone at Red Stone enough because now, I come home to a beautiful interior that feels as if life is new again!I hope the before and after photos help you to choose this five star company!
