My company, Breadsource Corporation, and I had the pleasure of working with Selman and Odera Construction Group beginning in March 2025. They were contracted to build out our retail bakery/café and bakery kitchen at our new location in Scarborough, based on a design set developed in collaboration with our interior designers.

From the initial tender process, we felt confident and comfortable with Selman and his team. His quote was clear, transparent, and fair. He worked closely with us to meet our budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising the design or quality of the space.

The build process was seamless from our perspective, as Selman and his team managed the entire project from start to finish. Usman, the assigned project manager, was highly accessible and responsive throughout, always available to address questions and manage changes or additions as they arose. Both he and Selman kept us informed with regular, detailed progress reports, ensuring we were always up to date on the project’s status.

The handover process was equally professional. They conducted a thorough walkthrough of the space and ensured we were fully comfortable with the work completed and the state of the bakery café at turnover.

What truly stood out was the team’s flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond. They accommodated specific operational activities we needed to conduct during the build and provided guidance well beyond their scope of work.
