We recently completed a large home renovation with Shack Built and we are very happy with how everything turned out. From day one, Shack Built provided consistent communication and guidance in regards to expectations, timelines and the renovation process. Cara was always accommodating to our schedules for meetings, and helped us work through an overwhelming amount of design options with thoughtfulness and design insight.Once the construction job actually began, our project manager Chris was fantastic. The amount of times he went above and beyond what was expected showed us that he valued not only us as customers, but also the work he does.We plan to work with the Shack Built team again.
ShackBuilt remodeled the Great American Bank branch in De Soto, Kansas. Derick and his team developed a genuinely nice design and plan for an older building in downtown De Soto. They made the process from planning to completing quite simple and timely. Derick and the subs worked around the bank’s schedule, working on a few Saturdays as well to not interrupt our employees and customers. Their communication during the renovation was excellent and the final product looked great!
After researching remodelers, I knew Shack Built would be the right choice to update my primary bath/bedroom plus 2 bedrooms and they exceeded my expectations. At the initial exploratory meeting with Derick and Cara, they ‘listened’, asked in depth questions and they promptly provided a proposal addressing all areas of concern. Once the project started, Derick provided a very detailed checklist of the renovation process for the working crews. Kudos to Josh my site project manager who ensured all tasks flowed according to schedule and keeping me abreast of any changes not yet reflected on the portal. Cara’s design choices were ‘uniquely’ and amazingly beautiful, I am so pleased to finally have a comfortable suite. If you are looking to make updates to your home, I highly recommend Shack Built for your next remodeling or renovation project.
For 13 years we lived with the tiniest least functional kitchen. A dear friend recommended Shackbuilt to remodel it for us and it was not only a gorgeous result but a thoroughly pleasant experience. There was daily communication in regard to progress and the actually came in slightly ahead of schedule.
