Travis with Easton design was great from start to finish. He stayed true to scope throughout our project. They only reason we went over budget was because we decided to upgrade and add features that we hadn’t thought of prior to Construction. We really liked that they have a huge haul away truck because our jobsite was cleaned top to bottom on the daily. We have plans to do another big project and we are definitely using Easton Designs
We had issues with a leaking roof on our mobile home and after consulting with Travis, he advised that the whole roof needed to be replaced. He gave me a cost estimate and timeframe of 2-3 days to complete the work. I also got a roof inspection and cost estimate from a different contractor who advertised for mobile home repairs and improvements. The second contractor’s price for replacement of the mobile home roof was 2.5 times more than Travis’s estimate. I decided to go with Easton Designs and Consulting Inc. for the roofing job.The workers arrived at 7:30am on Friday and began working on the roof. During this time, Travis stopped by to appraise the work being done and advised me that there were areas of the roof that were so deteriorated that the wood itself also needed to be replaced and that it wasn’t even safe for the workers to walk those affected areas. I now anticipated this to be a 3-day job for sure, but by the end of the day on Saturday, the roof was totally replaced and job completed.I liked the confidence the workers displayed in doing their job and how Travis stayed on top of the work and progress being done. I also was pleased with the open line of communication Travis had with those who did the work on the roof.On Sunday, another home owner came by to inquire about who had done the roofing job on my mobile home, saying that she thought the roofing job was superior to others that she had observed being done in the mobile home park. Her comment made me feel exceptionally good about the job Easton Designs and Consulting Inc. had done on my roof.Based on my experience with Travis and this company, I confidently recommend Easton Designs and Consulting Inc. for your home improvements.
I was referred to Travis to help with the replacement of a garden window and install a double French door. Travis came out and was the first person to explain what needed to be done, what didn't, and how to cut thru the "interesting stuff" to the truth. He was so honest and helpful, I ended having him help with additional projects, including exterior painting of my home with a new, lighter color scheme (which turned out gorgeous)! He and his team were very professional, skilled, precise with their craftsmanship, and wasted no time!!!They don't disappoint and won't steer you wrong. I HIGHLY recommend Easton Designs and Consulting, and would hire them again!
I needed a new kitchen and I went to a few home shows and got way too overwhelmed and I didn’t feel good about anyone I met with and put that project on the shelf for a little bit.An old friend mentioned Travis and his team so I called them and they were a blessing. They were easy to work with. They were priced very well and I have my dream kitchen now. I feel blessed to have been connected with Travis and Steve and I know anyone else will too. Thank you both so much.
Starting a home renovation is an exciting and stressful endeavor. We purchased a renovated home 3 years ago in Studio City. Our inspector said it was the best home he had seen in years. A few months after moving in we discovered this was not the case. The new roof leaked, the new HVAC system failed, water was seeping into the foundation, walls and we had a mold problem. An acquaintance suggested we use Travis who had just completed a pool for him that their prior contractor abandoned. He did a great job. We made the appointment to meet him.It took a year for us to get started. Travis took the time to discuss our concerns, prioritize the project phases and was patient as we figured out our finances. We had to fix so many functional things and also hoped to include some interior upgrades that improved our quality of life in the home.We did some initial work with another contractor who was fine but limited in his scope. Travis’ confidence was solid and measured; his ideas were spot on, and practical. He assured us he would follow through and be there for us over the years as this was our final home.We signed and got started in August of 2023. His partner was assigned as project manager. After 6 months it became clear that the project was not going well. Our communication with Travis was truthful, timely and he did his best within the limitations of his company to meet our needs. He soon realized it would not be possible to provide the quality and service he expected of himself and promised to his clients. He left the company and started on his own.He asked for our patience and promised he had our back. When the dust settled, he called in his new team and accomplished more in 4 months then was completed in 1 year. He walked the walk.We have a solid new roof, our house is warm when it's cold, cool when it's hot; the walls are sealed, the wood is painted and looks beautiful, we have a new custom office, exterior wall with windows, a powder room and custom closets in the main bedroom and foyer.I can't tell you how relieved we are and happy that finally there is someone in this industry who cares and does his best. We will continue to work with Travis and Easton Design Consultants for our future projects.I have read through the reviews posted and ask anyone considering a general contractor to meet with Travis and make their own decision. There is always some truth in a review but it is not the whole picture.Hopefully this review fills in the gaps.Well Done Travis & Thank you.Steve
