Communication was fantastic—we always knew what was happening, were kept in the loop every step of the way, and were included in all the important decisions (no surprises, except how amazing the bathroom turned out!). Highly Recommend On Point Renovations! We recently discovered water damage underneath a bedroom window caused by a persistent leak. The subfloor and the area around the floor vent were badly stained and rotted. We brought in On Point Renovations to tackle the issue, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job from start to finish. The crew was incredibly thorough. They didn't just patch things over; they carefully cut away the damaged drywall, removed the compromised insulation, and exposed the studs to properly assess the scope of the leak. They worked diligently to ensure the root cause was fixed, everything was completely dried out, and all the structural elements were secure. Once the remediation was done, their rebuilding skills really shined. They expertly executed taping and mudding the brand-new drywall. The transition between the original wall and the new section is seamless, and they left the room incredibly clean and ready for paint and flooring. Throughout the entire process, the team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. Dealing with water damage is always stressful, but On Point Renovations made the repair process completely painless. If you are looking for a contractor that does high-quality, honest, and meticulous work, look no further. We will absolutely be using them again for future projects!

We hired this company for a reno of two bathrooms. For demo, tiling, heated floors, minor plumbing, and shower fixtures. While the final bathrooms looked good, the overall experience had some issues that I hope they can improve on. To their credit, the finished tiling work looks great, and so far there are no leaks with the showers. They were very quick to start work, but speeding through the planning led to some issues in the end. We expected some on-site damage, but it would've been nice if all damage to existing finishes caused by the work was to be repaired to the original condition (as would be expected from a renovation company). Scuffs, cuts, and chips over various walls. Ceiling cracks formed below the work area due to heavy vibrations went unrepaired. Electrical and drywall work for heated floors involved unexpectedly large holes in newly painted walls. We were charged an additional $1500 for the patching, and the quality was poor enough that we had to fix parts of it ourselves. A repainting quote was also significantly higher than alternatives we found. The plumbing subcontractors had very inconsistent scheduling and did not properly consult us on fixture placement, resulting in awkward shower head heights and the omission of a handheld fixture in one bathroom due to valve limitations we were never asked about in advance. Clean-up and containment were also major issues. Tile and grout dust/mud was left throughout the garage and top floor. We had to clean the hardwood floors ourselves after improper cleanup methods pushed dust into the grain. Dusty handprint over the walls. We also observed grout water being disposed of onto a neighbour’s property and into nearby city green space. Not to mention dozens of cigarette butts all over. I can't imagine what it'd be like to actually be living in the house while this would be going on. While the end result is acceptable, the process involved damages we had to cover ourselves, poor cleanliness, and some lackluster communication. I would strongly recommend clearly documenting expectations in advance and closely monitoring work if hiring this company.

I’m so happy I chose On Point Renovations for my project. The team was friendly, patient, and really cared about getting every detail right. They made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and the final result looks fantastic. I would definitely work with them again!
