Thank you Matt, Robert, and Cole.Specific call out to subcontractors Geisler Electric who went above and beyond in identifying and addressing issues created by our original builder, as well as Pacheco Plumbing who quickly found and fixed what could have been a major water leak and basement flooding due to a failed mainline back pressure valve. None of those things were in their original scope of work, and they could have ignored them, but instead they brought high quality customer centric care to the job every single day.Finally, a shoutout to Lindsay and team from Crockett & Co, who work closely and partner with Made New Homes, and who designed the whole remodel, provided expert advice and recommendations on new fixtures, finishes, and features. She made the selection and decision process easy and simple that allowed us to move forward with the project quickly.Highly recommend and would give 6 ?? if I could.
We worked with Matt and his team at Made New Home on a basement redesign, including painting, lighting changes, new heated tile floors, and many other detailed elements that were originally designed by a third-party designer. Overall, it was a very positive experience.Matt was extremely responsive and flexible throughout the project. Whenever we preferred to use a different specialist for a specific area (for example, wallpaper), he was completely understanding and collaborative. He was also reasonable and fair with pricing, especially when it came to requests and change orders, which made the process much less stressful.What mattered most to us, though, was that Matt genuinely cared about doing a good job. One example really stood out: we had a couple of custom high tables made, and the stain color didn’t come out right. While the tables already took longer than we would have ideally wanted based on the original timeline, Matt and his team first tried to fix the stain. When that still didn’t meet the quality or look we were expecting, Matt offered to redo the tables from scratch at no additional cost. The final result was significantly better and showed a real commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.Despite some delays, the care, integrity, and craftsmanship made the difference. We would absolutely recommend Matt and his team at New Home, and we would not hesitate to work with them again on our next renovation project.
