I will start off with saying that everyone I spoke with was polite and professional but unfortunately, this just wasn’t a great experience. First off, if you want to know what’s going on with your project, expect to have to call them all the time as they won’t be calling you with updates. 90% of the time the only reason I knew what was going on was because I was calling them after not hearing from them in a little bit. I hired Elite to do flooring and new baseboards for my 230 square foot basement. I was told that this was going to be a two/three-day project and this stretched over a month, so I was out this space for an extended period. Initially, when we discussed the project, they explained how the work was going to be done, and I had some concerns of bubbling in the flooring, and they assured me that wouldn’t happen. Well, they came to do the flooring and there were bubbles everywhere. To their credit, they did agree to come fix it with no objection. After laying the floor the second time, it is better but still has some bubbles in areas. I was told as we walk on the flooring it will get better and from what I have gathered from other professionals that is only kind of true (it will correct some, but it won’t be magically perfect). I would say that the quality of work for the flooring is that of a homeowner doing it, not professional contractors. The baseboards were done well, and I have no complaints there. Overall, I think these are good people, but they were just horribly disorganized on this particular project. With that being said, I wouldn’t sign up for another flooring job with them but outside of that I would consider giving them a second chance.
I am beyond ecstatic about how our recent exterior siding and trim project came out. Josh and his team were great. The finished product looks fantastic! They were very detail oriented and took their time to make sure the finished product is how we described it. They communicated a project timeline to me and kept to that timeline. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their home.
