Marvista Design + Build

We had a wonderful experience working with Marvista on a three-bathroom renovation in our 100-year-old Squirrel Hill home. This was a huge undertaking and the biggest project we have done in our home to date. All three bathrooms were in various states of disrepair and required gutting down to the studs. We were nervous going in, but from start to finish, the entire team was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive, and we truly felt taken care of throughout the process. Our project manager, Verica, deserves special recognition. She did an outstanding job guiding us through what could have been a stressful renovation. She kept us informed, calm, and on schedule every step of the way. Her communication was excellent, and it always felt like she was one step ahead, making sure nothing fell through the cracks. The craftsmanship was equally impressive. The carpenters and tile team did beautiful work with great attention to detail, and the quality really shows in the finished spaces. Our designer, Lindsay, was also fantastic. She oversaw the design of our project and worked closely with us to help narrow down our ideas, and she thoughtfully incorporated our inspiration photos, and translated everything into a design that feels both cohesive and very personal. The final result is a set of bathrooms that are unique, true to the character of our home, and truly “us.” Marvista is a company that consistently shows up (in every sense of the word), communicates clearly, and treats their clients with care and respect. The entire process went more smoothly than we could have imagined. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to any friends or family looking for a team to oversee a major renovation. We’re so grateful for the experience, and absolutely love the outcome.

We had a really positive experience with Marvista for a multi-room (master suite) remodeling project in our 1900s-vintage house. Once the project started, they executed exceptionally well. They were communicative about any surprises or delays, and even post-completion we found them really great at resolving the few small issues that had arisen. If I had to identify a relative weakness, for us it was the design phase, though I'll acknowledge that we may not have been entirely clear about our preferences heading into the process anyway. Marvista was upfront when we first spoke to them that they recognize they are not the cheapest option and aren't trying to be, but we felt that working with them was overall a great value because of how reliable and thorough they were. We've lived in the new space for over a year now and have been really happy with the quality of their craftsmanship, polish, and customer service. If we were contemplating another major project, we'd absolutely reach out to them again.

Working with Marvista Design Build was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship, and professionalism are truly top-notch. The quality of their design and construction work exceeded our expectations. Every element was executed with precision and care. The team was not only highly skilled but also incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and delivered a finished product that was both beautiful and functional. We were especially impressed by how smoothly everything ran. Deadlines were met, the site was kept clean and organized, and every member of the crew showed great respect for our home. If you’re looking for a design, build company that delivers exceptional quality, seamless service, and stunning results. I can’t recommend Marvista Design Build highly enough!

We recently worked with Marvista Design+Build on a full kitchen and first floor renovation, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team demonstrated great communication, incredible design expertise, and a genuine commitment to understanding our goals, style, and needs. They completely transformed our dark, dated 1970s kitchen into a modern masterpiece that beautifully reflects our love of midcentury modern design. The attention to detail was exceptional, and their commitment to perfection was evident in every aspect of the project. As with any renovation—especially in a 100-year-old house—challenges did arise, but Marvista handled everything with professionalism and responsiveness. They addressed issues quickly, navigated vendor problems without involving us, and ensured that everything stayed on track. Importantly, they stuck to the budget and remained accessible and responsive, even after the project was completed. We felt confident and well-supported throughout the entire process. Marvista is a trustworthy company with an amazing team, and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. Check out the before and after photos. Highly recommend!
