Macktown Construction Group

An incredible business with the most amazing staff who carefully listen to the needs and desires of their clients. Tony, Cassie, and their team will be recommended to anyone I know looking for a renovation or home remodel! Thank you for being such a reliable and amazing family-owned business!

I reached out to Macktown Construction Group with a project question, and even though my scope of work wasn’t something they handle, they still took the time to really listen and help me understand my options. Instead of pushing a sale, they were honest, clear, and upfront — and then referred me to one of their trusted trade partners who was a better fit for what I needed. I never felt brushed off or rushed. They acted as a true guide, helping me make the right decision for my situation, even when it didn’t benefit them directly. That level of transparency and integrity immediately built trust, and it says a lot about how they operate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Macktown to anyone looking for a company that genuinely puts the homeowner first.

We hired Macktown Construction to re-do our master shower. They told us it would take a week. It ended up taking 2 1/2 months but, I will say they really stand behind the workmanship. One of the porcelain walls cracked where we had the bench installed. They immediately took responsibility for it and had a new wall ordered and installed correctly at no extra cost to us. In the beginning I felt nobody was really taking ownership of our project but once Derrick took over our project it was done correctly. He was apologetic on how long it took to get it done. We were satisfied at the end and would definitely use them again for another project.

We have used Macktown Construction for a few projects over the years and are always thrilled with the results! The most recent was our master bathroom remodel. From the design process til the final walkthrough, everything was smooth and professional. We were always kept up to date on progress daily in person or thru the app. What we liked the most was how Derek thought ahead on every step of the process. This saved us time and made the final project better than expected! His attention to detail was amazing and went as far as his impeccable clean up at the end of every day!

We hired Macktown Construction to remodel our master bathroom after looking at their favorable reviews online. They were very competitive in price and did an excellent job. Everyone from their company was friendly and professional. Chad was my main contact and was very responsive whenever I contacted him. Matt spent the most time at our house doing the demolition and most of the remodel aspects. My husband, who can be quite picky, has been very impressed with his tile work and is still looking for a flaw somewhere. They were very responsive to changes we requested and did their best to accommodate our design vision. (For example, we did not want there to be a step up into the shower but short of major structural changes that wasn't possible. However, they were able to make the step up as small as possible even though it required more delicate tile work.) The only downside to the engagement was the time frame for completion but most of that wasn't within their control. We started the week after Thanksgiving. Demolition was completed very quickly but getting all the inspections took a little time, as we were warned. Due to holidays, bad weather, waiting for the vanity and a new tub (the first one was broken) and waiting on some sub-contractors, the job took 9 weeks for full completion versus a 5-7 week estimated completion. I know that Macktown was as frustrated as we were with this delay. Overall we are extremely happy with our renovation and would definitely work with Macktown Construction again.
