Barry made sure I was happy with everything and was also helpful with advice with a couple things I wasn’t sure about. It came out great and looks unrecognizable to what it was before. From the original estimate and quote, to the permit application, to the variance application Barry was very helpful and knowledgeable. We finally got to work this spring and the workmanship was top notch. Some unavoidable weather and material delays along the way, but the final product more than meets my expectations. Barry was very open with communication and financial discussion throughout the project. I almost want it to snow so that I don’t have to clean my truck off!

We couldn't be happier with our kitchen renovation working with Suydam Construction! From start to finish, the entire team demonstrated top-tier professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for our project. It's hard to find a construction company and crew that you can truely trust, and never once did I have concerns when they were working in our house when we were not home.

Every phase of the construction (which there were many!) was handled with clear communication, transparency, and efficiency. The crew (Andy, Jay and Kelly) showed up on time every day, kept the worksite clean, and maintained an impressive level of organization. Most importantly, the craftsmanship was outstanding — it’s rare to find a company so dedicated to both quality and client satisfaction.

Barry and the guys kept us informed of every step, and even went above and beyond to accommodate a few last-minute issues from the appliance delivery and fit without hesitation. The end result took our breath away.

We hired Barry and his team to renovate our finished basement from the 1980s. Suydam was mentioned when we asked friends for recommendations, they did not disappoint. From the initial request for a quote, to completion of the project, Barry maintained great communication and professionalism. He and his team maintained a clean working environment and made it a priority to minimize the impact to my family’s day to day activities (even during schools winter break). Barry was flexible with the basement design as the project evolved and provided great recommendations and was receptive to new ideas. We are more than happy with the result of our renovated basement which included the addition of an egress window, a half bath, and a new laundry room with a much more open room concept. The most impressive take-a-way we had with Suydam construction was the professionalism of Barry’s team. When the project began, they were consistently on-time, personable, trustworthy, and cleaned up after themselves. Most importantly they were great with our kids and pet. We will look to Suydam for future projects.
