We shopped around and felt most confident in this company because every person we interacted with from the initial quote to the team who did the work had a lot of knowledge and experience. They made helpful recommendations too which I really appreciated. Their quote was the lowest too out of 5 quotes. They specialize in bathrooms too which I liked because they finished a complete remodel (new floors, new tiled shower, new vented fan, painted walls and ceilings, etc) in 2 weeks. Be prepared to manage all material shopping and purchasing yourself but our quote included a list of material needed, measurements of most things and a list of recommended stores to shop at. This is the company you want to sign a contract with for your bathroom remodel or correction like in my case.First Choice have a great team who are respectful honest genuine hard working guys. They are careful, detail oriented and organized. Simon was on charge of my project and even though he is super busy he will reply to messages promptly . We needed a roll in shower wheelchair accesible bathroom for my son. Two years ago my bathroom was completely gutted out and done by a contractor somebody recommended. Many things were wrong in it such as the floor level/pitch, water leaking down to the basement due to water running from the shower to underneath the wall hung sink which was also installed too close to the side wall making it difficult for my son to fit his wheelchair comfortably to use it. Shower walls did not have hardie or wonder board all around so some upper tiles were installed on Sheetrock. It was missing some insulation as well and had few plumbing errors. Our bathroom always felt cold during winter regardless of the heater running. Anyways very poor craftsmanship. We began looking for estimates and that’s when we met Fabian after other contractors. He could not believe the quality of work done in my bathroom and how water run all over. He spent about an hr with us and analyzed the whole situation. We felt we met the right contractor this time to do our bathroom correctly as he was knowledgeable but also demonstrated genuine concern and the desire to make thinks better for my son. He told us he will make some calls in means of helping us. We waited for his estimate and instead we received an email stating he and his partner Simon decided to donate the labor to my son. We stayed in touch for about a year until I was ready. They are true to their word. Now we are extremely satisfied with our bathroom. It feels like a nice hotel bathroom. All previous issues resolved as they ripped off the floor and shower walls in order to do it correctly from scratch. It is simple but beautiful bathroom and most important built correctly for my son . It means a lot to us what they have done. We recommend them and will always be grateful to Fabian, Simon and their team.
