We had an outstanding experience using Neil Kelly design and remodeling services for kitchen modifications. While we chose Neil Kelly based on their reputation as the premier remodeling company in Oregon, I was most impressed with the communication and interaction with the people of Neil Kelly. Neil Kelly is actually a people company. All employees of Neil Kelly connect and establish a collaborative relationship with their clients, listening carefully to needs and expectations and truly catering their services to the individual needs of their client. The experience is a collaboration. All of the people who were in our home throughout the process, from design to demolition to installation, were wonderful individuals who cared to give 100% to quality. I never questioned the care put forward to provide topnotch craftsmanship. In terms of communication, we were regularly updated on the progress each day of work. Any questions or issues were immediately addressed. As expected, the end result was pristine. Every detail is cared for and the entire project process is made as easy as possible for the client. We will use Neil Kelly again and I would actually not consider another remodeler in the area.
I reached out to Neil Kelly to do some work at my house. I had tried other companies, but no call backs. From start to finish, Parks, from Neil Kelly was responsive, professional and timely- and a delight to work with, to get us scheduled. We had some lights switched out and they did an excellent job. Initially we thought there might be a need to do some small ceiling repair, after installing lights in the dining room, but our journeyman technician Ron Jackson was amazing! He installed the fixtures perfectly and without having to repair the ceiling. Ron was efficient, personable and did a really nice job for us. I would definitely use the Neil Kelly crew again, and will recommend them to my clients. Thanks!!
Neil Kelly gets the two stars because I would not use them again. However, I don't know if another design/build company is any better. The biggest issue I had was quality control was dependent on my input. Be prepared and proactive to identify any issues. Neil Kelly did fix the issues but if I did not bring it to their attention they would have been fine with the level of craftsmanship and detail provided. The design of the kitchen is great. I would advise to set the tone and pace for communication and make your expectations known.
We contracted with Neil Kelly in April to have our 30 year old house updated. After consultations with Magda and finalizing our plans the outstanding work was completed on time and on budget. Our team was professional and fun to work with. They even worked around our supervisor, Pickle, a little Yorkie. The trades that worked with us were all on time, cleaned the areas being worked on and very respectful. Aaron and his crew coordinated and communicated with us almost daily, following the schedule right down to the last inspection. We look forward to having Neil Kelly work with us in the very near future.
