Recent reviews mention a mix of experiences. Positive feedback highlights thorough estimates, regular communication, budget awareness, and neat workmanship on bathroom and basement projects. Critical reviews note schedule slippage, uneven follow-through, and punch-list items requiring return visits. Homeowners recommend clear timeline documentation and progress check-ins.
We hired these contractors for a 45 square foot bathroom re-do in a home for a tenant. The original estimate of time came in at 4 weeks. Once that deadline was obviously going to pass, I was told the contract stated they would have 45 business days. First, the contract said nothing about the amount of time. Secondly, it still took longer. While the work was good, the tenant needed a taller toilet installed. They agreed to take care of it if we purchased the toilet. We did, I reached out to them twice and they never bothered to reply. Of course, by that time, they had received final payment. While the work was done, it was not done in a timely manner.
UPDATE: Because this business isn't noted as closed, I just want to note in this review that MN Department of Labor records list this company's license as revoked as of 12/8/2025.My husband and I initially hired Anton in October 2024 for a full basement remodel and signed a contract for it to be completed by end of February 2025. Long story short: we had a really bad experience that was similar to others mentioned in these reviews. At first things went well and felt productive, but after a month (and after we made an early payment per his request) the work basically stopped. We communicated with Anton and he promised it was due to some circumstantial issues that would not be a problem going forward, but we continued to have issues with very slow progress and poor communication. He started showing up more after our emails got more serious and we were bothering him almost every day for work updates. By August, the project still wasn't done and we fired him. We ended up having to find and hire contractors to finish the job.
Anton was very affable at first. After a couple months, he started not showing up. Then maybe because of some aesthetic paint choices we delayed a bit. But after roughly 8 months he still wasn't showing up much. He did a closet door really poorly. Also a threshold to a bedroom was sloppily done. Also he never finished an area of wall around a new door way. He threatened to leave the job once, but then agreed to finish a limited amount of work. But then not long after, he said he's done and won't return again. He even left some of his gear. It's not like we weren't willing to be open to any upcharges if necessary. Instead he just wanted to quit altogether. His behavior exhibits symptoms of Bi-Polar disorderwe have photos still.Tom Maertz
Couldn’t ask for a nicer contractor to work with than Anton! We wanted a half-bath in our unfinished basement, with plumbing roughed in for a shower in the future when our budget allows, and Anton made it happen. He understood our budget and what we could afford to accomplish right now and what our future dreams for the space could look like. Always came into our home with a happy hello and got right to work. His work was neat and tidy and well-done, as was the work of the other professionals he brought into our home. Project took longer than estimated timeline, but once completed it was exactly as expected.
Anton and his team were a pleasure to work with to turn our vision into reality. They kept us informed throughout the process and were proactive about flagging and addressing potential issues within budget. (Work included demo down to studs, relocating door, expanding shower, new venting, etc.) Their initial estimate was thorough and accurate with no unpleasant surprises or hidden costs during the project. The work took a few weeks longer than anticipated but we appreciated their open dialogue throughout. After each days work, the space was left tidy. Very happy with the result!
